*Update* Dylan Mendenhall contacted us & acknowledged how what happened to us was not ok. He ended up making us a deal on a Chevy Bolt and having Alex deliver it to us at home in Seattle. Alex had all our paperwork in order and ready to go when he arrived. We signed and now have our new car. Thank you Dylan & Alex for making this right. We appreciate the extra effort. Literally everything you’ve heard about dirt bag car salesmen is what happened. BAIT & SWITCH; Out of state buyers, made deal over the phone, were sent paperwork on the car we made a deal on. Drive 6 hours roundtrip to dealership, and are shown a different car (same make and model), signed paperwork for over an hour before the finance manager said “the car has 25k miles” (ours was supposed to have 15k miles) and finally realized that was not our vehicle and the VIN did not match. No one told us the car was gone until we caught them in their lie. We gave them every opportunity to make it right instead of walking out immediately and they refused to do so, so we left with nothing. Mike Pricket "Sales Manager" tried to upsell me from the first phone call, then tried to act like he was doing me a favor by giving us $500 off a car that we were tricked into thinking was our car we made a deal on. The replacement car had 10k more miles on it than the car I made a deal on, so $500 off, plus the fact that I'm being tricked is not good enough. Alex Wendler, was nowhere to be found once we discovered this switcheroo, and called after we left to offer us all the same deals Mike offered, like we were going to come back after all this nonsense. Elliott Dawson somehow got roped into being the one showing us cars after we discovered the grift. I'm still not sure if his nice guy vibe was real or an act. If it's real, he should really find a better place to work. More
