I liked Josh, the sales person I worked with generally. He has been responsive, but the reality is he cannot overcome the other frustrations I have with the dealership overall. First of all, the process of leasing our vehicle was insanely protracted (many hours), and included an "oops, my-bad" type of error from the business manager that resulted in the monthly price we discussed and I had agreed to being misquoted too low after hours of working through everything -- and not by a small amount. By that time, I was stuck (e.g., my ride had left and was an hour away) and we wanted the vehicle so we sucked up the not insignificant difference. At the time I thought it could have been an honest mistake, but given subsequent behaviors, I'm pretty sure I was just being naive and they just took advantage of someone who was too far gone into the deal. Given the "mistake," they promised to compensate me with free upgraded floor mats -- which have yet to come -- literally three months later. I ask regularly and they are always just about to be delivered or sent to me. They even had someone drive to my house and hour away to get a new signature because they used the wrong lease form -- and I was told he would have the mats --- but when I asked where they were, the guy had no clue about it. And still they do not come my way. Lots of "wait, you didn't already get them?" and "let me check with my manager" comments. But there's no reason to believe they will ever come it seems. So let this be a cautionary tale to others planning to lease from them -- if they tell you about a late-in-the-deal error -- it's probably a deceptive practice and you should walk away. Don't do like me and let your ride leave you stranded. Maintain your flexibility to bail until everything is done to your satisfaction. Furthermore, the vehicle is supposed to come with certain CCS charging accessories (as displayed on Hyundai's own website) and every time I ask where they are, I get a "we are looking into it with the Hyundai reps" response. They are critical to the ability to flexibly charge the vehicle and I leased the vehicle under the assumption that we would have these available for our use. This is super frustrating and again makes it feel like they were happy to get me out the door the day I got the car and the rest is my problem. And now when I ask about the adapters, I get very snippy "we told you we'll let you know when we have them" responses. Maybe I'd trust that if I hadn't experienced other points of deception with them. So even though I initially liked Josh and he was super knowledgeable about the vehicle we got, I absolutely cannot recommend working with Matthews again -- between the pricing "mistake" and the non-follow through, it's leaving a really bad impression overall. Others should beware. There are a lot of other Hyundai dealers out there. I recommend you find another. More

I traveled from 2. 5 hours away and my new vehicle was clean and ready for delivery when I got to the dealership. The deal was negotiated over the phone with Dylan in a 5 hours away and my new vehicle was clean and ready for delivery when I got to the dealership. From the first phone call with Krystal to the “thank you” handshake with my salesman Markquese I was treated with respect and truly felt like they appreciated my business.
