Mr. Balk, Customer satisfaction is our number one priority. Unfortunately the Elantra's are in high demand and although we do our best to fulfill each and every request there are occasions where there is a longer than anticipated wait for a vehicle. When you called and canceled the order do to this circumstance we immediately sent the request for refund to our corporate office and submitted the refund thru the credit card company. It does take 2-3 days for the refund to show on your statement. If at this time you have not received a credit let me know and I will send verification of the transaction to you. I understand the car is hard to come by, if your salesman was upfront about not having it that would be one thing. But your salesman lied about having the car first on Thursday, after taking my deposit, then said he could have the car for me first thing Monday. In the mean time your company charged me double the deposit I was told for the car. I called the salesman Josh Immediately to find out what the deal was, he said it was a mistake and it would be taken care of the next day. Guess what, it never was taken care of. It wouldn't have been a big deal if the car was ready for me Monday like I was told. It turns out when I called multiple times Monday that they had not even secured the car, let alone have it. Fine no big deal refund me the deposit. It took 8 days, no 2 or 3, 8 days to do and instant transfer back to my account. It doesn't take 2 or 3 days to show up either, that is complete bull shit. Not only that every time I called inquiring I got the complete run around. In fact my wife left you a message and you apparently didn't have time to call us back. It wasn't until I complained to Hyundai that I got this so called story that you only do refunds on Friday's. Why don't you only take money on Friday's as well? The handling of this was incredibly poor from top to bottom and your company should be embarrassed. Brad Balk
