I had an appointment at 1:30pm at Matthews Hyundai of Schenectady. I came in for an oil change and tire rotation for my service. They completed the service in about an hour, then asked if I wanted an ins Schenectady. I came in for an oil change and tire rotation for my service. They completed the service in about an hour, then asked if I wanted an inspection as well since I needed one. After another hour, I had to go back to the service department to get answers because it seemed as everyone in the dealership who arrived after us had already left, including someone who bought a new car. When we went back there everyone was standing around not working on anything. We asked what was going on and taking so long, and someone told us that because my car has a cracked tail light cover it wouldn't pass inspection. If this is the case, wouldn't the mechanic or someone conducting the inspection know that? And it wouldn't have wasted another hour of my time. The individual who was helping us throughout all this, wasn't giving me many details what was going on, didn't seem very knowledgeable, and had his earbuds in the entire time. The staff were not professional, and I wasted my time being here. I will not be returning. More

Very disappointed in the service department during my appointment on June 12. I came in for a replacement of front bumper pieces which were ordered by the parts manager after he visually inspected the ve appointment on June 12. I came in for a replacement of front bumper pieces which were ordered by the parts manager after he visually inspected the vehicle. My hour 1.5-2 hour appointment turned into 3 1/2. After waiting 2 1/2 hours, I was informed that the parts department ordered the wrong parts, but the technician had already taken my vehicle apart before he checked the parts so I had to wait for the vehicle to be put back together with the original parts. Needless to say I now have to come back to do this all over again. I had no issue with Deion. I’m not sure where the disconnect was where the wrong parts were ordered but not confirmed to be on hand before the technician took my car apart. More

Brought my car in for recall work. The staff was friendly and helpful. The recall work was completed promptly. I was given a review of necessary repairs beyond the scope of the recall that discovered during an inspection of my vehicle. The recommendations matched what was recommended by Firestone. The agent throughly explained the rates and what was most urgent. Hyundai fixed the most urgent issue at a reasonable rate. I would use them again! More

I was a bit hesitant at first but once I got to talking to the staff I realized I was in good hands. The service advisor Monalysa Segure was absolutely great and the repairs were quick and I was treated wi to the staff I realized I was in good hands. Monalysa is great and should train all your services staff as well as the young man.
