Mis-steps at every level. First salesman never showed me how ANYTHING but how the trunk worked in 2020 Ridgeline. He never asked to bring the vehicle I requested to the showroom. Then he and whatever manage how ANYTHING but how the trunk worked in 2020 Ridgeline. He never asked to bring the vehicle I requested to the showroom. Then he and whatever manager insulted me by offering the Sticker price and only $500 on my trade. The vehicle was already marked down online. So, after 2 hrs I was walking out when Bepin stopped me to try to make a deal. The vehicle was at the showroom in 7 minutes. After negotiating to get the sale price that was on a sign in the passenger seat, we began the process. Bepin actually made an effort to sell the Ridgeline by showing all of it's features. I was asked to sign the inspection checklist and review the dealership before I took possession of the vehicle. After almost 6 hrs and making my down pymt, I left to return the next day to pick up my vehicle. That took longer than expected as one of the bed hatches wouldn't open and there was only a 1/4 tank of gas in the Ridgeline. Management missed the ball on this one,. They can't have salesmen who don't know the features on vehicles he's selling, and then playing games with the price. Anyhow, 10 days of driving and I stopped in to the Service dept in Passaic, and they were outstanding. My time was important to them. It was important that I had an understanding why things worked or didn't work. I had an issue with a door not working: child safety lock engaged. Two pieces of equipment in the glove box I thought got missed. Trailer hitch accessory and bed door release cover. Issue solved. Apparently, Service can show you how things work, and sales can't because of Covid. I disagree. One thing I made clear early to sales: I never drove a Honda. I couldn't even back the car up to test drive. More
