We left our car with them for repair of the gear control and two weeks later they had not even determined what the problem was. We left for a trip for two weeks and during that time they determined the iss and two weeks later they had not even determined what the problem was. We left for a trip for two weeks and during that time they determined the issue but didn't order the part as we had to agree to the estimate. They said it was NOT covered under warranty as we caused the issue (?) They had our email address and phone number but never contacted us...we were on a cruise and didn't have phone capability but could receive texts and emails. Upon our return we tried to call and get an status and three times we were told by whoever answered that they would have someone call us back....in each case, no return call so we finally went in. They could not explain why no one ever contacted us with the information to get authorization to move forward. At this point our car was at the dealership for a MONTH with nothing done to it so we took it to another mechanic who verified the part required in two days. Then we took the car back to Hyundai of Orange Park to get the moon roof issue repaired as it WAS under warranty. We made an appointment and they initially said it might be ready that afternoon but be safest to count on noon the next day. We went in mid afternoon to discover it had not been touched!!! They said we were a "drop off" and they had clients "waiting for the cars in the dealership!" My question is "Why make an appointment if they don't get priority over people that come in to wait???" Had they contacted us via email initially regarding the gear control, I would likely have authorized the cost to repair of just under $2,700 but the mechanic we took it to fixed it for $1,200 so we saved and they lost that repair. When explaining to a fellow volunteer why I was leaving early to go pick up the Genesis today, they said they were seriously considering buying a G80 but just changed their mind. We will not return!!! More
