Went there to look at a GMC which I didn’t like, but I had a couple of backup vehicles I had saved to look at. I test drove a 2022 jeep which I liked and decided to purchase. The online price was listed had a couple of backup vehicles I had saved to look at. I test drove a 2022 jeep which I liked and decided to purchase. The online price was listed as 21,942 which is what I expected to pay. I ended up spending over 3 hours at the dealership waiting and was told my monthly payment would be higher because this vehicle had more miles and the interest rate would go up, even though my credit was good. Turns out they reran my credit multiple times, which had already been done before I came in. I also came in with a flyer that offered around $2000 off in down payment assistance or about $2000 off the vehicle price. There was also a drawing which I got $5 out of. I had one salesmen tell me I would get a $500 Visa card if I didn’t get a higher prize in the drawing. Then when I asked about it , I was told the gift card was actually another drawing I would be entered for. They also stashed my flyer somewhere and said nothing about the $2000 off or down payment assistance. So this brings me to financing, I went through signing paperwork and argued with the finance guy over getting an extended warranty. I’d had really bad experiences with these previously and declined it, but he was really insistent on trying to sell it. He printed out a number of papers which I signed, then finally came to one I had to sign on an iPad which only had room to see the signature. I never saw a sheet with a total cost breakdown and I know I should have asked for it. However I didn’t and he printed the last papers I’d signed electronically and quickly put them in an envelope before I could read them. So when I got home I started looking over the paperwork closely. My paperwork showed a purchase price of $26,800 which is NOT what the website showed as a Patriot pledge price, the website showed a price of $21,942. That is the price I expected to pay, there’s also a documentation fee of $609 which I was not informed of beforehand. I was shocked to say the least and the price increase of $4,858 is not something I’m willing to settle with. So I emailed my sales guy and the manager of the dealership that night. I emailed again the next day. I have also texted and called. It has been a week now and I’ve called, emailed and texted multiple times to different people. I was assured a manager would call me back. Not one has, I’m regretting purchasing from this dealer as they like to bait and switch, they don’t honor their flyers or the advertised price of a vehicle. And they don’t return calls or emails. Buyer beware, stay far away and take your business elsewhere. More
