I just purchased a Wrangler Unlimited from Rockland CJD. Since it was the only dealership open on Sunday, and I had met Salesman Christopher Gunst at a recent auto show, I stopped in with wife and 3 kids. Chris quickly recognized me and remembered what we talked about at the show. He gave us a thorough overview of the vehicle and answered all of our questions. It is obvious that Chris is a Jeep aficionado, who keeps a photo of his baby (his Jeep baby) on his desk. Since we had too many people to take everyone on a test ride, Chris happily took me and my wife on separate rides so both of us, and all of our kids, could check out the car. Chris even accommodated my request to drive different vehicles so we could compare the Jeep when driving with hard and soft tops. When it came time to talk price he was fair, and didn't keep us waiting around unnecessarily while he talked with his manager. We came to a fair price rather quickly. They appraised my trade quickly and also gave me a fair price without much back-and-forth that one would expect when purchasing a new car. I was set on a certain color with certain options so they had to locate a vehicle for me. The dealer who had the vehicle I wanted did not want to give it up and gave us a hard time with doing the swap. Chis and his bosses pushed for me, and eventually got the dealer to do the swap. The next day, on what I believe was his own time, Chris personally drove over an hour each way to swap vehicles and get my car. Delivery was smooth and pressure free. The car was immaculate and exactly as we had agreed (with dealer installed options). Jay Murali, in finance, emailed me a list of service and warranty options so I can review and research them before delivery and called me the before the delivery to see if he can answer any question. Although I opted to buy a few extras, I felt no pressure to do so and think I was given a fair price on what I bought. My entire experience with Rockland CJD, Chris and Jay was excellent. They were friendly, knowledgeable and patient. I never felt pressured to buy anything I didn't want or need and felt like I was dealing with honest, upfront gentlemen. I have purchased numerous cars in the past few years and felt that this was by far the best experience. They even included 6 free oil changes, which I think they do with every new car purchase. More

I was extremely pleased with this dealership. Everyone was polite and helpful especially Chris. I had lost my car in Hurricane Sandy and was there only to look at availablity and prices. From the time I met with Chris he was very honest and most important not pushy for a sale. He was also concerned about me as a person and the devastation to my home and car. Needless to say I put a down payment on a new car, which I really didn't want to have a loan again, but the offer and professionalism won me over! When I came to pick up the car I met with Dante, another excellent employee who was honest and knew his job. He did not try to sell me a make believe warranty like I have experienced in the past at other dealerships and therefore I bought an extended warranty! Please inform these employees about what a great job they have done, I am very happy! More

I explained what I was looking for, but had no luck finding it at the dealership. Don knew I wasn't interested, but let me poke around the new vehicles anyway. I left on the agreement that he would call if something came his way he thought I'd be interested in. A few days later I received a call from Chris. They hadn't found exactly what I wanted, but were willing to make a generous offer on what they had on the showroom floor. When I walked into the dealership, I bumped into Warren. Chris was busy and Warren cut right to the chase. He came back with an incredible offer and agreed to pay what I owed on my trade-in. Warren gave me every rebate under the sun and even took off an extra $500 for a military discount right before I walked out. I never felt rushed or pressured in my purchase and I truly feel like I got the best deal. Derrick took care of all the financing and even called me back about 3 times to address concerns I had and to inform me of better offers. When I said I could probably find a better rate from my credit union, he proved me wrong and beat the previous offer by .5%. Before leaving the lot, Chris when over all the perks and technology upgrades (most of which I've already forgotten). He even set up the bluetooth to play around with on the way home. I honestly feel I couldn't have gotten a better deal anywhere else and the staff was truly amazing. I've already recommended this dealership to my friends and family and highly recommend it to anyone else. More
