The only car I’ve ever owned that didn’t make it to the first oil change: This was the worst automotive experience of my life. We were sold a car with a bad engine. This car left myself, my wife, and my in first oil change: This was the worst automotive experience of my life. We were sold a car with a bad engine. This car left myself, my wife, and my infant broken down and stranded multiple times. The 3rd party warranty they sold us with the car left us with so many out of pocket expenses that my wife had to cut her maternity leave in half (out of pocket paid not work provided) because the out of pocket expenses on repairs of this car completely depleted our savings and ran our credit card up. After just 1500 miles of purchase a full engine replacement was recommended on the car. Between a warranty that was used entirely to replace an engine that was bad since sold to us by Ken Garff, our out of pocket expenses for the engine replacement and the major engine repairs, tow bills, and a rental car bill, we’re out of pocket $7,700. Talking to Ken Garff Hyundai Southtowne through the entire process since the first repair, ultimately in the end offered to give us $20,000 for a car that we originally bought off them for $23,500, and invested $7700 (warranty to fix an engine that Ken Garff should’ve replaced before selling to the public and out of pocket expenses) leaving us vested at $31,200, and taking a $11,200 hit on a car we have yet to make it to an oil change on. This is not a dealership that stands behind their customers. I would genuinely recommend not doing business with Ken Garff Hyundai Southtowne. More

Our car package was not sent to the bank in a timely manner. We’re still waiting for our license plates. We don’t have any information on our bank that financed our loan. Great dealership! They listen to your needs rather than trying to make decision for you. They listen to your needs rather than trying to make decision for you. More

This dealership feels predatory. First I wanted to buy the car cash but the advertised price was only available if I financed. Lie number one. Second they add on their lojack product and charge $1,200 over the price of the car, but wait, it's already installed so they can't take it off. Lie number two. Since I had to finance to get the price (minus lojack) I decided to add my just turned 18 son as the cosigner to help him build credit as the car is for him. Thus far, I've received no payment information nor loan information. I've called multiple times. Today I received an email addressed to my son advising that he was in fact the primary with myself as the cosigner and that the terms Ken Garff Hyundai gave us need to be modified. Lie number three. I'll call the number on the email to find out what's going on from the finance company. My guess is the dealership lied to them as well. More
