I've had bad experience with a car I bought from here and I've been trying to contact the man who sold it to me and he does not respond. He listened to all of our questions and requests and met all of our needs. He then referred us to Ryan Sitter, financial manager. My daughter and I were in there on 11/14/2020 to look at a 2017 Chevy Equinox that had very low miles on it. We test drove the vehicle and were interested in purchasing the vehicle. We asked the salesman a 2017 Chevy Equinox that had very low miles on it. We test drove the vehicle and were interested in purchasing the vehicle. We asked the salesman about the Equinox being a certified used vehicle. He said that it was not certified but the advertisement on the website indicated it was certified. He said we could have it certified for an extra $995.00. He then checked and verified it was certified. The salesman simultaneously was working with another customer. This left us sitting in the chairs for very long periods of time. I specifically asked the salesman to give an idea of monthly payments without running a credit report. He stated that he could not do that. I asked him why he could not give us a range of monthly payments. This vehicle was for my 22 year old recent college graduate daughter. She does not have good paying job yet. She is actively testing to become a police officer. I asked that the salesmen do a soft inquiry into her credit because too many inquiries reduces your score. He agreed to do that. But instead he ran a hard inquiry to her credit. My daughter did not sign anything nor did we have deal in place before this inquiry was run. At the same time he was helping another customer. When he told us that he ran a hard inquiry into her credit I was livid. This was not what we wanted and the inquiry was done without my daughters approval. We left the dealership immediately. This was wrong and unethical on numerous levels. You do not simultaneously run two deals at the same time. You don't run a credit check without signed approval. I will not set foot in that dealership again. This tactic was completely unethical. I will never ever buy a car from this dealership. I will make sure every person I know hears about this horrible experience. I was trying to help my daughter buy a safe reliable used car. My daughter ended up buying a brand new 2020 Toyota Camry that same day from a very transparent Toyota dealer. This is the first foreign car our family has owned. Everyone else has Chevy's. After this experience, Chevy has lost me and my family as customers More
