My experience at BMW Catonsville was truly outstanding. He hit all the key points we had previously discussed and gave me the space I needed to evaluate which vehicle best suited me—no pressure at all, which I really appreciated. Ron also took the time to introduce me to the Finance Manager, Mark Sonn, so I could get to know all the key people involved in my buying process. About a week later, when I was ready to move forward, everything was perfectly prepared. Mark welcomed me back, and we kicked things off with a BMW welcome video before moving seamlessly into the financial details, expertly handled by Mark Sonn. Avoid this dealership AT ALL COSTS. They have the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in 20 years. The incompetence is primarily due to a service manager named Mike Winter, who They have the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in 20 years. The incompetence is primarily due to a service manager named Mike Winter, who instead of communicating with customers will instead send you to vociemail for weeks until you have no choice but to come in and demand information. I found out after weeks of waiting that they couldn’t get a wheel lock and hadn’t even worked on my vehicle yet. Then I found out that they discovered 17,000 dollars worth of recall/defect damage and I was forced to pay out of pocket for a rental car. Their service manager in addition to not communicating professionally is also very thin skinned and holds grudges. Beware, if you ask too many questions or demonstrate that you weren’t pleased with any aspect of your service they will ignore your calls and even refuse your business. I just started my career and am getting ready to trade in my 2018 for a new bmw, but the terribly unprofessional conduct by Mike Winter has made me sure that I won’t be trading to bmw and I won’t be purchasing from bmw ever again. All because of a seedy, unprofessional manager named Mike Winter. More
