The process to purchase our new 2011 Camry today was very smooth. We called yesterday and got the ball rolling with financing. Bill was able to answer all the questions we had as far as options as they had 3-4 cars in the color we wanted. The dealership was busy today (Saturday), but we were well taken care of while we waited just a short while before we did the paperwork. Matthew had taken care of the financing for us before we ever arrived and that saved a lot of time. He explained everything very well and we are very happy with the pricing. When we first arrived at Byers, I was out looking around while my husband went in to let our salesman know we had arrived. I was approached by a couple of different people to see if they could help me. They approached me in a very "non-pushy" way which I appreciated! The dealership is nice, very clean and everyone is very friendly. I would highly recommend Bill and Matthew and would encourage anyone looking for a car to visit Byers Toyota. Our new car is parked in the garage, next to my '08 Corolla, also purchased at Byers. Our son will need to purchase a car within the next year and we will take him to Byers to work with Bill. I am very pleased with this dealership thus far into my relationship with it. While the car I purchased was in great demand and short supply and thus, there was no negotiating the price of the new car, I relationship with it. While the car I purchased was in great demand and short supply and thus, there was no negotiating the price of the new car, I found the dealership to be very forthcoming on pricing and fair on my trade-in(s). The salesman, Bill Smith, conveyed the offers to me for my used cars by telephone since I was an out of town buyer. When I arrived at the dealership, the deal we agreed upon was exactly what was quoted to me. There were no changes of any kind. The paperwork was completed in a timely manner. In fact, the salesman came in on his day off to meet us at the dealership and consummate the sale. Bill Smith was very courteous, forthcoming and knowledgeable. When I was sent to finance for the completion of the purchase, I met with Kurt and he was equally forthcoming, not pushy with respect to add-ons and very helpful in my securing the loan on the vehicle with the bank that I wanted to use. Not once did he try to push me toward another bank or compel me to buy products that I didn't want or need. In conclusion, I dealt with people who stuck to their word and delivered the product I sought. The whole transaction was smooth, comfortable and professional. I have not had the vehicle serviced at this dealership yet, so I cannot rate the service department yet. However, based on what I have seen, I expect excellent service. I also note that the dealership and the service department have both followed up with me in the weeks since my purchase to make sure I was happy. More
