I relied on the dealership to perform the most important service on my 2005 S60 2.5T. Timing belt replacement. A service that needs an experienced mechanic. Doing it in correctly can cause catastrophic dama service on my 2005 S60 2.5T. Timing belt replacement. A service that needs an experienced mechanic. Doing it in correctly can cause catastrophic damage to the engine. This is why i took it to a dealership. I was called to pick up the car. When I got in and started it the engine light came on. I shut it off immediately. The cam timing was off. Of course the dealership rectified the problem, I was given a loaner to get home that day and picked it up the next day. They did perform all the engine check I requested including a camera and video of each cylinder. I understand it a 20 year old car, but with 92k on it it’s just getting broken in. I’ve owned Volvo’s beginning in the early 1970’s. I have always done my own service, till now. At 75 my hands and body tell me no more. I’m still a little disappointed about it all, but I will not the car to a local mechanic, I will use the dealership and hope this was a lesson learned by us all. More

Clear, efficient, solid dependable work. Great experience! I would definitely recommend this dealership for their service department.
