Avery was wonderful to work with. She was super responsive to my online request about the red CX 50 immediately sent me a video link of the vehicle and invited me for a test drive. Avery was knowledgeable, considerate and addressed my questions and concerns in a professional manner. In the spirit of continuous improvement, and you don’t need to print this on your website: I wanted to have a vehicle that had all of the “bells and whistles” and from my perspective I was became confused if that is what I received. For instance, there was a cargo package which included a cargo net and cargo blocks. When I got home, I discovered that there was not a cargo cover included in the cargo package. When I drove back out the dealership. I discovered that there are cargo packages that don’t include the cargo cover. I had explicitly said I wanted everything possible, and yet I drove away without, in my opinion, the most important part of a cargo package, the thing that hides your cargo from would-be thieves. I thought I was going to receive the cargo cover at no additional cost because it should be part of the package. The sales team should have put two and two together and offered the cargo cover before I left the lot the day before. Instead, I drove a 50 mile round-trip across the Portland Metro area to pay $200 for something that I thought was part of a cargo package Had I known that there was no cargo cover included in the cargo package when I was initially purchasing the vehicle, I would’ve asked for one and paid the $200 gladly. I guess I’m a little disappointed that there was only an apology for the miscommunication and not a compensation in the form of a discount because I drove a 50 mile round-trip using my time, and gas, to come get something that I wanted that should’ve been offered when I was buying the car. I was asked a few times if there was anything else that I would like, but when I was buying the car, it was difficult to think of everything that could possibly want. It is up to the sales team and their expertise to suggest and confirm optional items that are in the package. OK, no, I want to move over to the finance guy. I’m assuming he was the finance guy because he was trying to sell an extended warranty. He started with a very large cost for only three years of service. it did not make any sense to me to invest in that. He was very nice and warm and accommodating. He left the table saying “I’ll keep working on numbers is that OK“ and I said sure if you want to. He came back saying that the dealership works with Costco and because I’m at Costco member he can give me a discount. The discount was significant and he increased the amount of time that the warranty and services covered. So I ended up purchasing that because that was reasonable. Again again, I wasn’t thinking about saying I’m a Costco member, it did not occur to me. Why didn’t he lead with that to begin with? If there is a partnership with Costco then the dealership should ask that question upfront instead of trying to get more money out of me first and then offering the Costco discount. That sort of tactic does not increase my trust in the purchasing process. Nevertheless, I ultimately purchased the extended warranty/services package offered, and M glad that I did. Regarding DJ: DJ gave me a fair trade-in value for my Subaru Impreza. He played his manager role really well by staying in his office while Avery and the finance person went back-and-forth from me to the office to report on the process. Again, I am happy with my purchase and am looking forward to a road trip around the Olympic Peninsula in my new CX 50. More

I bought the 2025 Mazda Miata GT from Royal Moore 35 months after I had bought a new Subaru Forester Ltd. from Royal Moore. The Royal Moore employees have not failed to make me satisfied. They have a straightforward attitude and high work ethics on top of the utmost professionalism. I have mentioned the staff employees involved. I understand that car dealers are not in the charity business, however it was possible to get what I thought was a good deal for me without resentment and pressure. If God bestows on me some decent income then I shall come back for a GMC Yukon Denali. More

On 07/21/2025 I bought a Mazda Miata from Royal Moore because I had pleasant experiences on 08/21/2022 & 08/22/2022 buying a Subaru Forester, in 2012 buying a Toyota 4Runner and in 12/2003 buying a 1996 because I had pleasant experiences on 08/21/2022 & 08/22/2022 buying a Subaru Forester, in 2012 buying a Toyota 4Runner and in 12/2003 buying a 1996 BMW 740IL. The dealership employees were very professional, respectful and courteous. Special thanks to Avery Wilson, DJ Hoggard and HJ Tran. Avery Wilson has proved to be an outstanding salesperson who provided me with an after sale assistance. I did not ultimately buy from Royal Moore Mazda due to limited inventory, but my interactions with them along the process were still excellent. Avery reached out to me very early on in my car shopping jou limited inventory, but my interactions with them along the process were still excellent. Avery reached out to me very early on in my car shopping journey. She provided me with information about inventory, promotions, as well as what some of the logistics of buying might look like. She was knowledgeable and great to work with. While I was selling my old car and deciding what color and trim I wanted on my new one, Avery was patient and not aggressive or pushy. She struck a good balance between gauging my interest and giving me the space to get my own matters sorted before moving forward. Unfortunately, my choice to not choose Royal Moore came down to the color (interior/exterior) that I wanted being unavailable and my inability to cover the cost of acquiring that specific model. The customer sales experience was engaging without being frustrating and Avery's kindness and patience went a long way while making my decision. While I did not end up buying from them, I would not hesitate to recommend them or visit them in the future for servicing or any other car related needs. More
