I recently purchased a used vehicle through GP Subaru. The salesman Harshit was fantastic to deal with and went out of his way to be helpful through the entire process. I can’t say the same for the sales manager Ashley however. She was incredibly pushy and didn’t listen to a word I said. If my purchase had been based on my dealings with her I would have walked away. Alex the other sales manager was quick to problem solve when unexpected setbacks happened outside of his control. I highly recommend dealing with him if possible over Ashley. Adam in the finance department is very friendly. More

When I was interest in buying a Subaru, I wanted to buy closer to home so I decided it would be good to shop at GP Subaru. I reached out to them and was looking for a manual transmission. They did not have closer to home so I decided it would be good to shop at GP Subaru. I reached out to them and was looking for a manual transmission. They did not have one is stock and we were going on holidays and were intending on test driving and come back to GP to buy. When we returned home, we agreed to have our car ordered and was told we needed to put 500 down to get the order started. We did this and was told at least 3 month wait which was fine. About 2 month in I enquired the status and was then told it was not ordered, but we were on a waiting list as they only are allowed to order so many per month...but we were the next in line. Not happy that our was not actually ordered, I reached out to another dealer and they had one I could have bought, but figured I had a deposit ( that probably would not have been returned), wanted to buy closer to home, and was next on list so I should be getting vehicle... Heard nothing till new year and decided I like to know if the car was ordered or on its way?? Sent an e-mail and Aslhlee did not reply, but had some sales guy call and leave message 4 days later. I called back and Ashlee bluntly told me that our car was not ordered and can no longer get. With a sorry and that's it.. NO , hey our error, what can we do for you to fix this error. These sales people know it a sellers market and you are treated very poorly. Got the refund with NO reply .. Will be buying a car , but not from GP if I am treated like this. More

Absolutely the worst car-buying experience I've ever had. I was told it would take 2-4 months, which is why I chose this dealership. It took almost 6 months, which is what the other dealership I went to to I was told it would take 2-4 months, which is why I chose this dealership. It took almost 6 months, which is what the other dealership I went to told me it would take. Really wishing I'd gone with them instead! Obviously there was a delay because of the computer chip shortage but that was the same everywhere. Also, about 3 months AFTER I ordered, I was told that someone who ordered 4 months before me was still waiting. If they'd been waiting that long before I ordered, the 2-4 month estimate they gave me was misleading information. At that point, it was too late for me to change dealerships. It took them 3 months to send me any paperwork at all, and they sent me the wrong vehicle information twice, and again when I asked for the VIN so I could insure the vehicle before picking it up. Soon after I ordered the vehicle, I got one email saying I had signed some document (I didn't), and another telling me I had a meeting with someone that I didn't set up and wasn't told about. The salesman I dealt with was no longer with the dealership a couple of months later, nor was the sales manager. The finance person I dealt with when I picked up the vehicle had only been there a couple of months too, and no one had the correct records or the correct price. There was a rebate in effect when I ordered, which is why I ordered when I did. After the original salesman was gone, the next person said the rebate wouldn't be honored because it was no longer in effect. It took many emails and phone calls to get her to honor it, and when I picked up my vehicle they tried to deny it again. Good thing I kept the email, so I had it in writing! More

I came to Grande Prairie to check out Jeep Grand Cherokees and Fords explores. We went next door to Subaru and in the pouring rain here comes Harxxxx to greet us in our vehicle so we didn't have to Cherokees and Fords explores. We went next door to Subaru and in the pouring rain here comes Harxxxx to greet us in our vehicle so we didn't have to get out! Amazing, he then asked what we were looking for and I told him and my husband wanted to try these WRX, I was a little hesitate at first but then we took it for a test drove and I fell in love. Harxxxx answered all my question with confidence and assured me I will not have any problems in winter, as my previous vehicles have me SUV and trucks. The Manager Ashley was amazing as well, fully assured we are good hands and she was genuine about it. Onto Finance... Cianna was professional and made the whole buying process and being a out of province buyer, Cianna provided me with what steps I needed to do to get insurance etc....This is the first time I have bough a vehicle from a dealer and it was enjoyable, zero push for sale and nobody stalked you around the parking lot. I'm sure I'll be visiting them in the future to just stop by when I'm around next or to to buy another vehicle! More

Got the truck had some issues and only one was every resolved. Trucks in good condition besides motor burns oils had blow by all things that should be addressed before a dealer sells a truck. The staff is at GP Subaru are very friendly and helpful. Jason, Cianna and Ashlee all went above and beyond for me and got me exactly what I wanted no stress on my part. I had a couple issues but they resp Jason, Cianna and Ashlee all went above and beyond for me and got me exactly what I wanted no stress on my part. I had a couple issues but they responded quick and rectified my problems.
