It could have been 4 or 5 stars but one man ruined it for the entire dealership, Mr Carlos Fenice, Finance department manager, the man started " too nice " ( which is always suspicious ), to try to sell me s the entire dealership, Mr Carlos Fenice, Finance department manager, the man started " too nice " ( which is always suspicious ), to try to sell me some extras ( no problem there, that is his job to bring extra profit to the dealership and beside getting paid a base salary, one must keep in mind he makes commission on whatever extra profits he brings in, he is the " financial wizard" of the dealership). After financing a 2024 CPO CRV hybrid at a 0.99% rate, and declining all the wonderful extras he was offering.. his behaviour totally changed from too nice to extremely rude and unprofessional, his true colors showed, as soon as he realized he was not making any commission with me he wanted me out of his office.. telling me I was the worst customer ever, that because of me he was losing money on another customer.. this is while I stayed composed and polite.. the thing is I had not signed any paperwork yet and I was still buying the car, and I wanted to at least have a quick summary of what I was signing.. but he refused to oblige cause he was not making money and he "lost money on another deal because of me"(can you imagine blaming a customer whom is buying a car ?!), as a reminder his base salary is to still offer basic customer service.. I really needed and wanted that car, if not I would have given my business elsewhere ! On top of it this man is a manager.. what ?? For background, my wife had bought a brand new 2025 Honda CRV sport touring the year before and we had a good experience then, which is why we came back for mine, however we delt with Dimitri in finance whom remained professionsal during the entire process. To be clear everybody else at this dealership was professional , Paul, Jude, Rupert, the only terrible experience was with Mr Carlos Fenice, how is that man a Finance manager beats me.. he is a disgrace to both the HONDA brand, and the HONDA OF SOUTH MIAMI dealership. PS :I forgot an important detail, as he left fuming out of his office, I could hear him talk negatively to his collegues about me in the hallway.. who does that ? A low class ,unprofessional unrefined and uneducated individual, Mr Carlos Fenice ruined the experience for us which up to the point of meeting and dealing wiith him was 5 stars, he just took it from 5 stars to no stars in less than 60 seconds. Buyer beware and avoid this man at all cost. To the HONDA brand and HONDA OF SOUTH MIAMI, please get rid of this man has he tarnishes both the Honda name and your dealership. Otherwise everybody else we delt with at this dealership was 4 to 5 stars. Mr Carlos Fenice will probably attempt to post a nice reply saving face and justifying his actions, but there are no excuses for such behaviour and the man is a snake.. you have been forwarned.
