I purchased a 2020 F-150 from Carwise Gurnee on December 10th from Michigan. I paid titling fees and registration fees. The truck came with a temporary plate that expired on March 10th. As of March 25th, my 10th from Michigan. I paid titling fees and registration fees. The truck came with a temporary plate that expired on March 10th. As of March 25th, my lien holder/credit union still has not received the title and I have not received my permanent license plate for the truck. My plate is expired so I am not able to drive the truck legally and my credit union has raised the interest rate on my loan until they receive the title. I received one email from Amy on January 9th about renewing my insurance which I replied to with new insurance on January 12th. I asked a question in the email but Amy never responded. I called the dealership on March 16th and spoke with Jennifer who said she would look into it and call me back. I never received a call back. I have called numerous times since then and left voicemails. None of my calls have been returned. I have asked to speak with managers and I have been told that my case has been elevated several times which has not amounted to a resolution. I also spoke with a manager and he said that he would look into it and then call me back. He did not call back. This business has a customer that is experiencing a legal and financial problem that they have caused while not having the common decency to return phone calls over the course of two weeks. Carwise Gurnee makes the comments below so that they can seem like a business that cares about customer service. However, they still did not return my call when I called on a Monday afternoon. If they had appropriate customer service, they would call me to resolve the issue. Instead of telling me to give them a call and then giving me the same run around treatment. More

I went there to look at a 2022 Chevy Silverado. The truck was really nice and Raul was easy to work with. That's where things took a down turn. During the process I told Raul that I would want to do some "add ons" and was told that they do it all the time. The total came to around $1400. I also told him that I would be transferring my military plates to the new truck. When we got to the finance guy we found that the price of the truck on the purchase agreement was about $1500 higher than the listed price. We were told by him that it was because of the add ons, which was funny because they also listed the add ons at the bottom of the agreement. He tried multiple times to explain why there were 2 charges for the same thing on the contract, until I did the math myself. He seemed pretty upset and asked me if I was saying that they were "double dipping". Of course, I told him "YES". He went to see the manager and came back with his same messed up math. When we decided we were done and threatened to leave, it was only then that he went back to the manager to fix the issue. He came back with a revised purchase agreement that was pretty close to being right. The add ons were still kept in the price (meaning it was taxed) and I would be paying sales tax on it a second time when I use the money. My wife and I just accepted it because we were tired of sitting there for 2 hours and the amount was within a few dollars of what it should have been (and the truck was pretty nice). Fast forward 2 months and I get a new registration and plates in the mail. Again, something I had to pay for that wasn't needed. I called the dealership and was forwarded to their finance manager Amy Thompson. I got her voice mail. I left a message to call me to straighten it out. The following day, no call. I called back, and of course, voice mail, and no call back. I also called their title clerk, and yes, voice mail. I was hot by then. I called again and asked to speak to the business manager or the general manager. The receptionist said they were out. She took my message and told me that she would make it a priority to have the general manager call me first when he got in. Again, waited all day today for his call, but nothing. To me, it appears that either they are trying to scam a little money here or there on the agreement, or their finance staff is just incompetent. I also think that once you do make a purchase, they don't give a xxxx about you because they got their money. If you do shop here, bring your calculator and check every form line by line. More

Marco was incredibly helpful and really knew the dealer’s inventory, walking me through so many hatchbacks. I ended up getting the 2021 Rogue and I love it – it’s great, compact and maneuverable, with a good inventory, walking me through so many hatchbacks. Visited them yesterday and was impressed with how CarWise treats customers like friends, creating a welcoming environment beyond just selling cars. I asked about the Wrangler, which my uncle recommended. Tho treats customers like friends, creating a welcoming environment beyond just selling cars.
