I had my 10 day old Tundra towed in when the motor failed. Communication with my service advisor (Curtis W.) as well as the service manager (Ali T.) was effectively non existent, involving numerous ca failed. Communication with my service advisor (Curtis W.) as well as the service manager (Ali T.) was effectively non existent, involving numerous calls and voicemails left for them, and the only way to get an answer was to show up in person (the only 2 proactive calls I got were the day it was dropped off and the day it was "ready"). Several weeks in to the process, I drove to the dealer to get an update (as my calls were not returned for several days) and was taken to meet the tech, who told me all the parts had been there for nearly a week and he "hadn't been working on it much" because he assumed I was in arbitration; he then stated that he was "stuck having to reassemble an engine" because the truck was being fixed. At the 6 week mark I was told it was ready, after being told that the tech mis-timed the motor and had to do a partial tear down to fix it (adding 5 days). The results were body damage, interior damage, and an active oil leak with a trail of oil in the dealer's parking lot. 1 week later, the body damage fixed, I was given the truck back. The next day it was I took it back again as it was out of oil (warning on the dash and a dry dipstick) and leaking still (I was told in the morning "everything is fine" when I took the truck to them and then found a puddle in my driveway and took it back yet again). Another 2 weeks of being in the shop I was given the truck back again, and immediately traded it in as I had no confidence in the dealer or technician's abilities. The dealer that took the trade in found that it was still leaking oil AND now leaking coolant as well. There is zero accountability within the service department. During the repair the Toyota Corporate rep with brand engagement also was unable to get calls back from the service manager for >1 week at a time. OMG. I have found the wortst dealership in Maryland. STAY AWAY! I brought my car in for a diagnostic test. Alerting the dealership that my battery i I have found the wortst dealership in Maryland. STAY AWAY! I brought my car in for a diagnostic test. Alerting the dealership that my battery in my electric toyota BZ4X was operating below 65% of its normal capacity. I was only getting 131 miles per day fully charged, instead of 252 miles per day estimated as it perfomed when I first leased it 13 months ago. They said they would test the car and then get back to me. The warranty is the reason I leased this new Toyota car. OMG. They came back with no answer about my battery. They try to charge me $330.44 for a diagnostic and the rental car from toyota which was supposed to be FREE. OMG, this dealership lied to me. They knew they had a real lawsuit on their hands. The manager called me to say, we don't want you to visit here anymore. We aren't going to fix your car. But we will refund your money. It has been 7 days. No refund. OMG. I am so angry. Can you trust this dealerhip? NO. I can't I am so upset I am filing charges with the Attorney General's office. Did you know you could do that when a company committs fraud? And what about my battery, I just hired a lemon law company. They are going to take this dealership and Toyota to court. For Free. Did you ever have a bad experience with Heritage Toyota of Catonsville ? You have to tell everyone to stay away. You can post on Yelp, on Yahoo, on Google Reviews and the Better Business Bureaus website. I am so pissed. I'll never lease a car from this dealership. I'll never have my car serviced here. I intend to file a personal lawsuit in small claims court in Baltimore County. This is why courts were invented. STAY AWAY. DO NOT EVER SPEND MONEY HERE. THE WORST. i WILL GET MY MONEY BACK FROM THEM THROUGH THE CREDIT CARD. But they need to learn the public will not stand for this. NO MORE Heritage Toyotal of Catonsville. SHUT THEM DOWN. Extremely poor experience with Heritage Toyota Catonsville. Brought my Tacoma Truck in for routine oil change and tire rotation which has 18,500 miles and was recommended for $1000 to have front Catonsville. Brought my Tacoma Truck in for routine oil change and tire rotation which has 18,500 miles and was recommended for $1000 to have front & rear brakes replaced. Discussed my concerns with Ali who recommended to bring back and we'll take a look along with service manage. Which I did and the technician simply showed that brakes are not needed (service manage was not involved in the review). The issue being the recommendation for new brakes ($1000) was totally ignored. More
