My son took his Touareg in for warranty repair work. After several returns over the last 2 months to get the same problem fixed over and over again, we hope this time they have fixed it. They put 100's of km's on it test driving, letting their staff drive it home, and never replaced fuel they used. One time he picked it up, it won't even start in their parking lot. The last time he picked it up, the driver's door sensor didn't work to which the dealership said was corroded wires and the repair would be $140. When he went to the GM to complain that the problem was caused at the dealership, the price then went up to $550 but he would only charge him $450 to repair, as a favor. He just picked up vehicle, declining to fix the one door and now all the doors and the rear hatch won't work with the sensors. This time they had it for about 2 weeks. The service adviser had told me personally that they could have fixed the problem on the first day, but their hands were tied to follow VW Canada direction on repair. Then he complained that they have 29 hours invested but VW Canada would only cover them for 6 hours. Why he thought that the customer needed to know this is bizarre. Throwing VW Canada under the bus is very unprofessional as well. The professionalism of the staff and mostly of the GM is deplorable. The customer service is non existent.

Steven Zacharias,general manager at Carvista, convinced us to get that AUTOXTRA car warranty insurance, it was total waste of $2000. He said they cover everything you don't worry even for a single thing with this warranty... blah blah blah...... That was total false information.... instead of helping someone who doesn't have experience buying used car, take advantage to get more money....

So i bought a vehicle from these guys. I Lived out of town and dealt mainly thru phone. And they delivered the vehicle to me Which was awesome. Love the Suv i got. But later that evening i started to notice a lot wrong with the vehicle. Stalling, Vibration, Broken Buttons that didn't work. Check engine light came on, So i talk to the dealership they agreed to take it to a shop and they would cover it. They even Called the shop ahead of time yo now i was coming down. Fine. So i do that. Then i find out there's more wrong with it. Like Ball Joints. Brakes, Sensors, That switch, Possible Timing belt replacement needed. Cost for repair $3500- $5000. Then they say they only want to cover $1000 of the repairs. And expected me to cover the rest. lol. So Not happening. few days After they offered me $1500. Meanwhile i have no vehicle, Cause it's in the shop. Which by the way this is only 4 Days after getting the car in the first place. I ended up telling them. I'm backing out of the deal. Went to the shop took my things out of the vehicle. Called the financial company in charge of my loan, Told them what happened. They agreed And they called off the load with the company...

Went there a couple of months ago..... Complete waste of time. I saw a vehicle that I liked on the website. Went there to check it out. Got to talk with Arlin (he was very rude by the way). Talked to their sales guy, then we found out the vehicle that I wanted was from Crown Nissan. So the sales guy showed me other vehicles from their inventory but I did not like them. So they said they will find a way to get the car that I wanted from Crown Nissan. After 2 hours of waiting at Automax sales guy said he will just give me a call asap so see how things worked out. So I waited 3 days no call... decided to call him and he said he still has no news regarding the car I wanted but he said he will call me back the next day. 2 days passed no call... i called him back maybe twice a week for 2 weeks but all I get is his answering machine. I left several messages asking him to call me back.
At 3rd week my wife stopped me from calling them. It felt like I was waiting for a job interview or something... frankly they made me look like a fool or desperate. I was going to spend my money on them and this is how they treat customers?!
What got me even mad was they collected all my details and got me pre approved (they did a credit inquiry).... all for nothing!!!
Wasted my time visiting Automax... looked like a fool waiting for their call... wasted a credit inquiry that will now show on my credit history.

Was all set to buy a Journey but the Uconnect didn't work...needed a software update but instead of offering to fix it, they decided to walk away. Wasted 3 hours of my time, with an old man that had no clue what he was doing, had to call the boss 20 times, couldn't even refund my deposit back properly, had to write a cheque. They clearly sell vehicles they know are faulty, cuz whoever buys a silver 2013 Journey from them, they know about it and it'll be your problem. Avoid them at all costs

I came into contact with this business in 2017. I was a very sad experience. a car that would have cost $8000 dollars at best, they sold it for $18000. By the time that it was flipped to Lease with the option to Purchase, its price had skyrocketed to $32000. And then you have to watch it carefully. By the time my acquantances declared bankruptcy, they had already paid around $24000, and still owed $28000.
The price that you would pay for a top-of the line, high-end vehicle. When they declared bankruptcy, the car they had acquired from Autolist was only $800 dollars worth by the Black Book value.
Sad to say that they will take advantage of one's inexperience. Please advise anyone that you cate about not to come here. Please review the judicial court cases that involve Autolist and its financial side. A lot of people have been hurt by these businesses. On a good note, my acquaintances are now out of bankruptcy. A friend gave them a private mortgage with very excellent terms, and both drive very good cars, also financed with excellent terms from the friend. And they learned the lesson not to go to loan sharks.
