I want to share my recent experience at Sunmerside Chrysler Dodge. More specifically, I want to give high praise to my Sales Specialist, James Madsen! Not only is he extremely genuine but also a true professional! His approach is quite relaxed and there was no pressure from him. I had previously checked out some other dealerships SUV’s and I can say “ It’s definitely worth the drive to Summerside Chrysler Dodge “ to meet James. He explained his completely transparent deal and following some negotiations I drove home in a 2017 Dodge Durango Citadel. If you are looking for a new or new to you vehicle then go see James Madsen and tell him I referred you!! What also makes this dealership so special is owner, Warren Ellis! Avoid this dealership like the virus! They will not stand behind their products. I had a catastrophic engine failure on my Ram 1500 because of a common well known problem, defective needle bearings in the lifters. This failure occurred despite the fact that I was meticulous about keeping the truck serviced. I only ever used Mobil1 synthetic oil. Despite the service advisor Jackson, repeatedly telling me that Ronnie Martin the Sales Manager would call me, he never did. I can only assume that he was either too cowardly or just couldn’t be bothered. I knew that the truck was out of warranty and was not looking for something for nothing but I thought that they might want to do the work at a reduced rate to salvage the customer relationship and possibly sell me another vehicle in the future. Instead they wanted $2500 over cost to just order in the long block that I needed to purchase to get my truck back on the road. Instead I took it to Summerside Chrysler where they treated me with dignity and respect. In the end I spent more than $7000 to get my truck running. Summerside did the job within a week and called me several times over the week to keep me up to date on the progress. I dealt directly with the owner Warren and the service manager Allan at Summerside Chrysler. Everything was handled professionally. It was the polar opposite of how I was treated at Reliable. If you value your money and expect to be treated honestly and fairly, avoid Reliable Motors!
