My husband contracted Mark MacVicar or Hawkesbury Hyundai in Ottawa and we couldn't be happier. The service Mark provided was quite literally the best service we could have asked for. From beginning to end he was efficient, polite, knowledgeable and flexible to work with. He went above and beyond his duty and found the exact vehicle we wanted despite being very limited availability. He also made arrangements to deliver our vehicle to us. Hyundai of Muskoka was the fifth dealership that I visited, to find a vehicle. On a pure whim, Hyundai of Muskoka in Huntsville was the fifth dealership, but my stop was purely by chance. You see I live almost two hours away and have two other dealerships even closer to our home. Upon entering the dealership, I was greeted in a bright and modern showroom by Samantha. When I asked if they had the model and trim level I was looking for, to my utter surprise she replied yes three! WOW!! Three. I couldn’t find any either east or west of where I live. In fact, I looked as far away as dealerships in the Barrie area as well. Buying a vehicle today is much more than it used to be. The fanciest and most expensive vehicle in the world is not worth a thing, if the dealership doesn’t take the time learn what you want and respect your wishes. I have been totally satisfied with every aspect of our latest purchase and would be totally comfortable recommending Hyundai of Muskoka, to anyone requiring a vehicle today. Now that you know our whole story and experience, you can see why we say it is such a great pace.

They were also very knowledgeable. I felt no pressure towards making a buying decision and am delighted with the final result. This is the fourth Hyundai we own plus our son has one. We love the vehicles and the dealership is great also.
WORST SERVICE, WORST DEALERSHIP - BROO
After purchasing a Hyundai with a recalled, blown engine, this is the customer service I get to enjoy from Hyundai trying to recover the engine replacement cost:
We were promised time after time that it would be resolved "within the next few days" with no follow-up calls when we didn't hear back. It is 3 months to-date that I submitted this claim to Cambridge Hyundai.
The service rep Alexus told me that there isn't anything she can do. I was told that she didn't sell me a faulty engine. She has other clients, so she can't keep following up with the warranty rep. And that this should've been taken care of when the engine blew up last summer.. it's it's not her problem? Like I signed up to replace a blown engine when I bought the car?
When I asked to speak to her manager she kept telling me he's not available. When I kept insisting I'm not getting off the phone, sure enough her manager is available! He kept interrupting me and talking over me and when I asked for follow-up calls if the given timelines aren't going to be met. He asks me "so when do you want me to call you? Every day? Every hour?" When I reiterated that when you give me a timeline and you can't meet it, I would like a phone call. I got a lot of condescending tones, talking down to and was told snidely this is a circular conversation and he cut the conversation short.
I am even more disappointed in the service than my blown engine.

My husband and I recently purchased a brand new Elantra and it took FOREVER to get it into inventory. but that wasn't the main issue - the biggest issue was the complete lack of communication WITHIN the dealership (i.e. sales people to sales manager to finance dept) and secondly their communication with us. We did all the following up; we asked all the questions; we phoned them to check on timelines - it was ridiculous. And now as we try to book service appointments and they are too busy to answer the phone line, we leave messages and no-one returns our call - for a simple oil change appointment!! Ridiculous!

Really good. I begin with 4 out of 5, but I will easily give 5 out of 5 if future visits to Surgenor are consistent with the one I had. Eric was extremely helpful, as I brought my car in for a Service 3 that another dealer charged me for, but didn't do. Eric made sure there was documentation of this, including photo and video that I was able to submit to Hyundai Canada. Unfortunately, #HyundaiCanada treated me very badly and will do nothing to hold the other dealer to account. Surgenor, however, is to be commended for the integrity and transparency they showed. They do well if they are showing their appreciation for associates like Eric. Evidently, nearly not every #Hyundai employee demonstrates his attention to customer care (to Hyundai's peril).

if you ever need to purchase a Hyundai , please see Ceci Cao at the newly opened dealership at Dixie and the 401. She was so very pleasant when my daughter and I went to see the vehicles one Saturday and kept in touch. When my husband and I ultimately bought the Tucson 2 weeks later she was very excited for us . On pickup she of course showed us everything in the car and how everything worked as well as screwed in the license plates herself. The car is beautiful and CECI was great !!!!!!!!
