Great people equals great service. - Carla Kingston-Floyd
We traveled from Cornwall ON to Saint John NB to purchase our 2016 Jeep Wrangler after being very disappointed with the selection in our local area. Dobson's special order our vehicle and we were thrilled to bring it back home with us. Unfortunately, we had a small paint problem with our front fender and they helped us get in fixed at a shop in Cornwall as the local jeep dealer told us to take it back to NB. I am sorry to say the problem returned after a few months, but here is where the story gets better. We stopped into Dobson's while in NB on a family matter. They had zero notice that we were coming, but they gave us a new vehicle and had our Jeep repaired at their location while we were home. Anyone can sell a customer a new vehicle, but it is the service after the sale that makes a customer for life. Thanks to Erin McQuade and John Burchill for all of your help; we will see you for our next new vehicle purchase!
Totally disappointed in the service here. - WIL43
Twice now I have had my jeep in for service or recalls and twice I have had total lack of service. 1st trip was for an oil change and tire rotation. Was quoted one price and when the vehicle was finally ready, 3 hours late, price was double the quote. 2nd time (30 Aug) had an appt for 10AM for 2 minor recalls. Upon checking back to pick up the jeep, was advised that work had not been even started on it. Was advised when making the appt that the recalls would take approx 2 hrs to complete. Totally frustrated with this dealership and will be advising everyone who will listen about the lack of service and disinterest in workers to try to satisfy costumers. Totally screwed up my long weekend. Excuses from service, backed up, techs called in sick, etc, etc, and so on and so on.
Rallye dodge is a rip off!!!! - The guy that got roped off by ralley
Rip off I dropped my 15 ram off for alignment, tire rotation, balance they took my money to find out that my tire rotation was NOT done my steering is messed up to the point of it sticking feels like no power steering.they had my truck for a week I picked it up today and asked why they didn't do the rotation and got into a heated argument with the mechanic calling me a LIAR in the service department!!.i got NO good service and left $220 less with very little work done and tires back on in the same way. They DON'T honor their warranty said I had to have my interior cleaned so they can take picts of stains with a platinum interior warranty . I hope the owner addresses this problem
Service Department is Terrible - Hemi82
Had an MVI performed on 2016 Ram 1500 Sport and less than 10 days later discovered metal on metal contact rear brakes.
Brought this to the attention of Summit and the Service Advisor stated I would be looked after and that I should have the brakes done in Saint John the bring in the old parts for refund. I mentioned I had photos and when she heard that she asked me to email them and claimed she would reply with confirmation of their good will gesture.
Well...she complained the photos were not satisfactory and I explained they were the best I could take. So now she retracted and said she would need to consult the owner the following morning. She left me hanging in the email correspondence and I have an important job where I cannot be missing time. The truck was my daily driver at this point. I had to hunt for a rental and it turns up the entire city had none available. Then it was later in the evening and I had to work with my supervisor on switching my day off so I could get the truck repaired. The following morning I spoke to the Service Manager again and she was rude and said I would need to tow the truck up to have them look at it. I immediately requested to speak with the Owner. The owner called back and paid for the tow at a cost of nearly $400.00. It was quoted $419.00 to do the brake work in Saint John so Sunmit could have saved the money. Anyways up we go to Summit. They come back stating they messed up and as such would be replacing the rotors and pads. They used the cheapest rotors which are complete rust around the hub and mopar v line pads but they reused the retainer clips so now my brakes squeak. New retainer clips come with the new brakes but they chose not to use them and when I addressed this later on the Service Advisor seemed not to care at all. The fact to keep in mind is an MVI was performed inadequately missing key safety isssues such as the brakes. It gets even more interesting when I now noted the E-brake seems to be stretched and when I pull up on the release it doesn’t come back up all the way. I remember the mechanic at Summit who did the brake work asked me if I use my E-brake and suggested that if I didn’t not to start - this I found strange. What does he know? On a new vehicle it’s less likely the cable stretched and more likely the E-brake was not adjusted. Anyways the rotors look awful now and the squeak is annoying. The day that they replaced the brakes I specifically asked Service to keep the old brake parts for me and they assured me they would. I drove off without the old parts and called them to find out they threw the. Out. I asked them to keep them and I would get in when I could to get them. I wanted the old parts for any inspector who might want them when I filed the complaint. When I did get back to Summit the Service Manager unnecessarily threw the parts on the counter and sarcasticly said she didn’t know why I needed them and complained about having to fish them out of the trash. I have performed 4 vehicle transactions with Summit since 2012 and will never buy from them again especially considering the unprofessional nature of the Service Department. I recorded nearly each interaction which will be posted in full context online for educational purposes. I also reviewed footage from my dash cam and observed unprofessional behaviour by the mechanic. I have an open MVI complaint which has been submitted to the NB Licencing Officer. The investigation countinues.
very ignorant service department - yellow jeep man
Last week our new Vehicle was towed to this dealer with a flat tire which was covered under our tire warranty . the service department told us that because we didn't' purchase our vehicle there we would have to leave it there and they would fix it if they had time when asked for a ride to work we were told "we are too busy walk or call a cab" it was about a mile . the next day we went to get our vehicle they had put on our spare tire did not fix our damaged tire we had to demand our tire and rim to be returned ... NEVER AGAIN will we darken the door of this dealer ..
RIPPED OFF BY DODGE - dodge_cummins
Booked an 8 am appointment for an engine light. Went in for my appt and was told was not gonna get done til afternoon because someone called in sick. Got the call to pick tuck up around 1pm and said there was nothing that could be done about the code because of the programmers on my truck. I explained to them that it doesn't make a difference and asked why there was no information on the engine light. They charged me $50+ for doing absolutely nothing the first time. When I asked about the code they told me to wait for a better mechanic to get back from a road test and he would look at it. I waited in their waiting room for over an hour when I heard somebody outside reving the piss out of my truck and I knew they must be done. They charged me another $75 for shop time and told me nothing could be done. I was mad but said nothing. I left and will never bring any of my 4 dodges back. On top of all this they f'd up my back up camera because it worked when I dropped it off, but they refuse to fix it. Save yourself the headache and bring your vehicle somewhere else.
