What customer service really means. I had an appointment to have tires installed on my daughters Sportage on Friday Dec 23 and asked when I dropped the vehicle off at 12:30 to have a noi I had an appointment to have tires installed on my daughters Sportage on Friday Dec 23 and asked when I dropped the vehicle off at 12:30 to have a noise checked if they hade time. The service advisor Jennie called me an hour later to advise left front wheel bearing was bad but time was short and needed authorization to proceed. She called me back at shortly past 3:00 that there was some prior work done on the vehicle that had caused some additional damage. She had made arrangements for a rental as they closed at 4:30 for the holidays and weren't sure if the repairs would be completed on time. Having spent 35 years in the car business I kind of expected the worst but was pleasantly surprised when I went to the dealership that Steve the tech working on the Sportage decided to stay and finish the job. At 5:25 Friday night he backed the vehicle out and Jennie finished up the paperwork and got me on the road. Both these employees stayed and put extra time and effort they didn't have to to finish a repair I had no appointment booked for.This is the true meaning of CUSTOMER SERVICE.Lots of dealers in Yarmouth to buy from , I suggest putting Kia on your shopping list.
