Requested service issue - ignored and lied about.
had a booked appointment to have 5 issues looked at - some were under warranty - engine light, grinding in front wheel, doors locks, power windows and
had a booked appointment to have 5 issues looked at - some were under warranty - engine light, grinding in front wheel, doors locks, power windows and a leak for under the truck. Vehicle had to be sublet to have some of the work done. Vehicle was originally to be in shop 2 working days, which extended to 5 working days. On 3 occasions I asked about the leak - 'oops, we didn't get to that; then yes we will look at it; then 'I will go right out and get the guys to check it". Picked up vehicle, made arrangement to come back to have door locks and power window done, as this wasn't completed in the 5 days. Assuming all the major items, including the leak had been looked after - drove out of town - 5 hours. Discovered leak was still there - called - "oops they forgot to look at it". Had to have vehicle towed - leak was transmission fluid!!. Then the service manager lied on the service invoice - saying I agreed to bring vehicle back for the leak!!!! - a total lie, the agreement to wait was for the door locks and window! I took vehicle in for service, to make sure vehicle was in perfect working order - as I was driving out of town, with a 32 foot trailer! - why would I agree to wait on a LEAK in the engine?? and to add insult, when I discussed the issue - that they did not fix the leak or even look at it - the service lady was absolutely ignorant !!!
