Worst First Time Buying Experience I am not generally a person who gives bad reviews, but I had one of the worst first time car buying experiences because of this dealership, and I want I am not generally a person who gives bad reviews, but I had one of the worst first time car buying experiences because of this dealership, and I wanted to let others know. I bought a used vehicle which I was told would be fixed up for me, and ready within a few days of purchase. I have never owned a vehicle before, and I was excited to finally have one of my own. I had been taking a taxi to and from work, and it was getting pricey and constraining. My decision to purchase this vehicle through Westridge had been influenced by the many positive reviews I had heard from other people, but after my experience, some of them have said they won't be buying from them again. It took them 3 weeks to fix my car, and in that time I spent $140 in taxi fees to get to and from work, when I technically owned a vehicle. They only offered me a rental in the last three days of them fixing my car. I only got updated when I phoned in to ask how the work was going, and even then, I sometimes wouldn't hear back from them when they said they'd phone me back. I considered calling everything off many times, and was even encouraged to do so by all my friends, but in my naïveté I continued to believe them every time they said I would get my car in "a few days". I am thoroughly unimpressed, and so are the people I've told this to. I have called a few times afterwards asking for paperwork on what was done to fix the car, but I have not heard anything back from them. While everyone was very friendly, I felt so frustrated and upset through the whole process. Their offer to reimburse me for my taxi fees was never carried out, and I still don't have paperwork on the work done on my car. I won't be going to this dealership for any further work or business, and I sincerely hope no one else goes through what I did. More
