I would give zero stars if I could. I purchased a 2023 RAV4 from Toyota Gabriel Saint Laurent as a Toyota Certified Used Vehicle (TCUV), trusting their rigorous 160-point inspection. Th I purchased a 2023 RAV4 from Toyota Gabriel Saint Laurent as a Toyota Certified Used Vehicle (TCUV), trusting their rigorous 160-point inspection. That trust was completely misplaced. Recently, due to an out-of-province move to Ontario, I had to bring the car in for a mandatory Safety Standards Certificate inspection. The vehicle failed miserably. The mechanic discovered that the right rear lower control arm bushing was completely deteriorated, detached, and the assembly was heavily rusted. Professional technicians confirmed that this extreme level of corrosion and structural failure is the result of long-term wear and could not possibly have developed over just one year of normal driving. This means the dealership either completely missed or intentionally ignored a major safety hazard during their so-called "Certified" inspection. For a driver with good driving habits, this kind of hidden defect is an absolute disaster. You would likely never notice it during daily city driving until a special inspection is required, or worse, until the suspension fails at highway speeds. It is incredibly dangerous. I strongly advise against buying from this dealership. Their "Certified" label gives a false sense of security, and their inspection process cannot be trusted. I will never recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle here. More
