After about a week, we decided to take the 2 hour trip to Lethbridge to test drive. When we arrived, Jon (Sales) had been informed by Jared (Financing) of our interests, and was quite knowledgeable about models that were suited to us. Being in our mid-twenties, when we visited many dealers, it didn't feel like we were taken very seriously, and were treated like we didn't know anything. Centaur in Calgary even told me he would not quote me a good price on the phone because, "it would just turn into a sale for someone else." We were not made to feel like that at Subaru of Lethbridge. Jon took the time to explain the things that were relevant to the vehicles that we liked, and actually listened to what we wanted in a vehicle. When we explained what we were looking for, Jon found a vehicle on the lot that was made for us. All the features we wanted, none of the ones we didn't, and he didn't try to sell us into those features we didn't want. Jon was very honest when we asked about different things in the car which I really appreciated, and instead of him selling us the car, he let the car sell itself. Jon didn't talk to us about price, and reason for price until we asked. (We found many salesmen told us the price is so high because it has nav, AWD, heated this, heated that, etc.) And when we did speak of price, there were no excuses for the price, because the quality could speak for itself. When we decided to purchase, (at the very end of the day), Jon and Jared worked very quickly to make sure we could get all the insurance and papers that we needed so we would be able to get back home that night with a new vehicle. They encouraged us to stay as long as we needed, and ask any questions we had. After the dealership closed, Jon even took the time to set up our Bluetooth and get us fuel before we left. We have been very impressed with the service at Subaru of Lethbridge, and will definitely make recommendations in their favour.
