Service department letdown. Responded to a recall notification and after waiting he said it was not applicable. 2 3/4 hours shot and only explanation was that "They" send these out to everyone and whoever made appointment should have checked if my Ridgeline qualified. Icing on the cake was his total indifference in the matter and nothing even close to owning up to the goof or offering an apology. Sorry guys but 3 vehicles later i will have to pass business on to someone that treats customers better than this.

"they tried to charge me for a part that THEY broke "

I recently had my air conditioning fixed (under warranty). When I went to pick it up, they handed me a bill for $15 to pay for a clip that THEY BROKE while fixing the air conditioner. I asked them if they were kidding, and they weren't!! After much heated discussion, I refused to pay it. They finally relented. I will never go back there. PS I'm told air conditioning is a common problem for CIVICS so get it fixed before warranty expires!!

"Tire theft"

Stored my personally owned winter tires, only to find our they were removed from storage and sold along with a lease I had returned in the summer. The only reconciliation they were willing to offer for the theft of my tires was a small discount on a new set of tires along with installation costs. All in all, I am out of pocket hundreds of dollars with not even an apology.

"Salesman completely lied to me"

Salesman completely lied to me. He asked me what I wanted to pay you biweekly and said he could try and make the numbers work. He came back to me paper in hand with the "saying that an odyssey would be around 25500 which I thought was a decent price considering my payments would be 220 by weekly. However he forgot to put in 4.9% for the financing and it wasn't until the file got to someone else's desk that this mistake was noticed. Meanwhile I had put a hold on the van of $250. Since I work 12 hour shift so I could not get into send the paperwork until Monday I came in Monday to sign the paperwork and the lady told me of his mistake. I was disappointed this meant I no longer could afford the van. The next day I wanted to speak with my salesman. He did not offer much of an apology. So I asked about getting my deposit back and he said Yep yeah sure. Then a lady behind the desk told me that they could no longer refund money on a debit card. They would have to cut me a check but the person who could do this for me was not there. This really pissed me off and now I have to go back to the dealership for the third time to get my money back. I still have that paper with the quote on it. I wonder if I take the quote to my lawyer what he would say. A deal should be a deal shouldn't it? The other salesman Alan seemed better

"Purchased vehicle"

I recently purchased 2015 Pilot and paid extra for Honda certified certificate. Complained about the tires balancing before purchasing which was promised to be done. The tires were never balanced and refused to do it after vehicle was drove off. I will never return to Stratford Honda.
