I had a very Bad experience at this Nissan location a couples of months ago. Had given my car for Starting Issue Diagnosis Scan as it had hard start and the Service Department - Service Advisor Chris Pur couples of months ago. Had given my car for Starting Issue Diagnosis Scan as it had hard start and the Service Department - Service Advisor Chris Purdy asked me to do 6 different things to have the Issue resolved. Infact the Diagnosis was never conducted on the Car even once for the Money I paid them. A Visual Human Logic Diagnosis was conducted, instead of System Scan. I am still wondering why was I asked to pay, for Diagnosis Scan, while it was never conducted. A total Rip off & not trust worthy, will not recommend South London Nissan Location to anybody for their Horrible & Granted Customer Service. More
Get a second opinion if the service department recommends any maintenance work other than an oil change and the manufacturers service schedule. It's a shame a major car dealership has to resort to unscrupulo any maintenance work other than an oil change and the manufacturers service schedule. It's a shame a major car dealership has to resort to unscrupulous practices. They unknowingly tried to sell a person with 31 years of automotive experience unneeded repair work. Oil changes should not be used to try and generate extra cash flow with unneeded miscellaneous maintenance. I understand most people don't have time to book another car appointment for a second opinion, but it can save you hundreds of dollars. More
Worst experience in service department ever. In May, 2021 I brought my 2015 Nissan Pathfinder in to fix the relay switch on the rear hatch as it became dislodged. It was still working, but the bracket 2021 I brought my 2015 Nissan Pathfinder in to fix the relay switch on the rear hatch as it became dislodged. It was still working, but the bracket holding the switch was broken. The service department apparently ordered a new release switch and ended up charging me around $ 193 for labour. It came loose again within a week. They put on the bill that there was a " piece broken that could not be seen until replacement ", however you could see the broken bracket from the outside which was the obvious issue. I ended up ordering the new finisher assembly online myself which included a new release switch as well, cost me about $ 275 with deliver and exchange. It took me about 1/2 hour to replace the whole finish assembly and it works great now. When I looked at the old release switch it does not even look like it was replaced as it had dirt in the cracks etc. The overall charge from Nissan for this was over $ 300, and they didn't even replace what required to be replaced. I also have to question why they charged almost $ 200 in labour which would be to basically take off the back panel (4 clips) and replace a switch, when it only took me half hour to replace the whole finish assembly myself. Nissan was also of no help when I complained about the issue afterwards on their website. Because of this experience, I will not go back to them again for any service. I would give them a " 0 ", but that is not an option. More
Attempted to purchase new vehicle. Was told there was no issue, deposit paid. 3 weeks later notified its been sold to someone else. Terrible customer service. It was a little disappointing that after service contacted me to bring my car in for left front control arm replacement that at the end of the day they still did not have the part(s) in. Generally good service. You do need to watch the 'up' charges. Our $50 charge for switching out the winter and summer tires doubled to $100 when the service rep recommended my wife have the tires balance charges. She is not a mechanic and should be able to trust the advice as being necessary. My oldest boy is a foreman at a National truck service centre and he was angry, as I was, that they convinced a 68 yr old woman to do this. I am switching to another mechanic. You should be able to trust them to make honest recommendations. Also, even with an appointment she had to wait 2 hours for a simple tire change, a concern during covid lock down. More
This place has an unreal service department. My usual guy is Jeff, but any time I come in and have to deal with Chris or Kevin, it’s equally pleasurable of an experience. Well I see they still have the same service manager..... great reviews on the “SALES END” and hey I actually don’t mind their vehicles...UNTIL YOU NEED SOMETHING FIXED!!! but man their service guy get him great reviews on the “SALES END” and hey I actually don’t mind their vehicles...UNTIL YOU NEED SOMETHING FIXED!!! but man their service guy get him out of there! The absolute worst in customer service.... and because of that guy we have now traded in our Nissan! And because of him I will never EVER buy a Nissan again! I still can’t get my head around WHY they still have him around.....people like that give your BRAND NISSAN a bad rap! See ya NISSAN! More
