I brought my Civic into Sisley Honda for a service recall. I was on time and so were they. Lucas my service advisor was professional and fun to deal with. He had an Uber for me in less than 5 minutes recall. I was on time and so were they. Lucas my service advisor was professional and fun to deal with. He had an Uber for me in less than 5 minutes and home I went. Lucas called 3 hours later to let me know that the car was ready and an Uber was at my door in minutes to take me back. I have been dealing with Sisley since I bought the car from them in 2016. They listen, they explain, they take responsibility for my complete satisfaction. More
In June 2023 I visited the Acura dealer with the intention of exchanging my Acura MDX for an RDX. Initially, I was assisted by a representative named John, who seemed friendly and eager to help. How intention of exchanging my Acura MDX for an RDX. Initially, I was assisted by a representative named John, who seemed friendly and eager to help. However, things took a turn for the worse when we discovered that the demo vehicle we were shown had significantly more mileage (about 9000) than initially stated. Though John agreed to cover the first maintenance due to the higher mileage on the vehicle, when I went for the first service in January I was presented with a bill of around $500. When I raised the issue of the promised free service, I was met with a dismissive attitude and was forced to chase down John at the dealership. His demeanor completely changed, and his interaction was extremely rude and demeaning. He removed $200 of the cost which according to him in June would’ve been the total cost of the service. In addition to that few months ago we were stopped by cops due to an error in our registration which was again done by this dealership. This experience was disappointing and left me with the impression that customer care and honesty are not priorities at this dealership. In contrast, I have had positive experiences with Honda Acura Downtown and Honda Acura Vaughan, where professionalism and courteous staff are the norms. I will not be returning to this dealership and would advise others to approach with caution, especially when dealing with John, who is now a manager at the dealership. More

Editing this review after an ABYSMAL post sales experience. It was a mistake to purchase a car from Honda Thornhill. The dealership was friendly until the purchase was complete. My sales rep Giu experience. It was a mistake to purchase a car from Honda Thornhill. The dealership was friendly until the purchase was complete. My sales rep Giuseppe, was supportive in the sales process. But his post sales support was a entirely different story. I’m going to be clear in my review. I purchased a 2020 Honda civic. My problem is that the dealership sold me a car with faulty tires and refused to finance or discount the service of the faulty tires. Details: - I purchased car the car not more than 8 months back. It had stock summer tires on then. When I purchased the car the dealership didn’t let me test drive it on highway but just on local roads, and the car seemed ok on local roads. Again NOTE that they didn’t allow me to take it out on highway. - I switched out the summer tires on the car to winter ones before I took delivery. So I didn’t get a chance to drive the car on its stock tires. - this summer, I changed the tires back to summer and drove them for the first time. But I started hearing loud humming noises and vibrations in the car on high speeds at highway. - Took the car to back to dealership for inspection. The HONDA MECHANIC John said that the TIRES are faulty as the threading is uneven. He said the only solution is to REPLACE the tires. That would cost me north of $1000 including service costs for all tires and about $600 for 2 tires. - I spoke to the Giuseppe the sales rep to see if they can cover all or some part of this expense, since the problem was with the tires that came with the car. But after much to and fro with him and his used car Sales Manager (Roy or something), they refused to help me in anyway. They threw illogical defence for their poor customer service such as: 1. “It’s been 9 months since the sale”: yes it’s been 9 months because the TIRES were changed to winter tires on purchase. I never got a chance to run the summer tires because of they never allowed me to test drive on highway. 2. “The car was fine when they sold it because it passed safety checks” : the thorn hill branch is so arrogant that they they refuse to accept that a mistake could have been made by their service team for not checking the car thoroughly. Also “safety” checks are not the only criteria before selling the car. They should check whether the car is noisy, vibrating etc, amongst other things that can make the car undrivable. 3. “The tires could have been stored wrong which makes them noisy” : I stored my summer tires AT THORNHILL HONDA ITSELF!! the arrogance of used car sales manager to say something this stupid, and then still refuse to help was astounding. Because of these reasons my experience was stressful. Now I would need to replace the faulty summer tires that came with the car (which I never got a chance to use before.) Needless to say no one in my ENTIRE network is ever giving them any business. They are arrogant enough to think they can get away with Chicanery. However we consumers are not stupid and will hold the team dealership accountable. Be informed about this outlet, especially their used car sales team. More

My husband purchased his Honda CRV at this dealership, and we have no complaints about that. However, we do have complaints about the service they provide. Almost every time something went wrong. One time and we have no complaints about that. However, we do have complaints about the service they provide. Almost every time something went wrong. One time, he took his car to a different dealership closer to our home, and they informed us that the screws from the skid plate were completely damaged from the previous service done at Thornhill. They had to replace them, which cost us about $20. During the last service at Thornhill, they forgot to close the lid of the filters, leaving it laying aside. Additionally, they didn’t address the noise issue my husband had asked them to check. It feels frustrating to pay $500 and still have to check everything after such an ‘amazing’ service. What if they forget to do something else, like properly attaching the wheels? More
WARNING! ! Do not take your vehicle for tire services if you have custom wheels. They completely destroyed my new rims by using an incorrect socket on an imp ! Do not take your vehicle for tire services if you have custom wheels. They completely destroyed my new rims by using an incorrect socket on an impact wrench. Additionally, the center of the rims were also damaged presumably when mounted on the balancing machine. I've had 3 independent rim repair shops and they tell me that repairing the damage would cost more than replacing the rims. On a good point, I am buying a new 2023 Honda Pilot and lesson learned, I'm going to a different Honda dealership. More
I just had my vehicle serviced at this location (they moved to 88 steeles) and I would NOT recommend servicing your vehicle here. Note that the below review is not directed specifically to a single perso moved to 88 steeles) and I would NOT recommend servicing your vehicle here. Note that the below review is not directed specifically to a single person, but at the location/management/overall atmosphere: 1) This location used to belong to Sisley Honda which was a great dealership. Pfaff took over last year and made the puzzling choice of combining their Honda & Acura franchise into one single existing facility. This means they have doubled the number of sales and service desks, but kept the same amount of bays, service parking lots, amenities (hardly any to begin with), etc etc. The feeling in and outside the dealership is of an absolutely crowded no frills grocery store. 2) I came in for a regular oil change on my Acura ILX and gave my car in at 10:45am. Even on a busy day, a regular oil change at any dealership should not take more than 90 minutes. I was told I should expect my car back at 2pm. Not wanting to just sit around for over 3 hours, I asked for a shuttle since my home was only 8 minutes away. They gave me an uber, which is good – and they told me they would get me an Uber back when the car was ready. I tried calling them at 2pm, 3pm & 4pm – no one picked up and in the off chance they picked up, they weren’t helpful. I finally decide to take my own Uber and get to the dealership at 4.45pm. I waited until 5:30pm to get my car back! That is almost 7 hours for a single regular oil change! 3) When I got my car and started driving out of the premises, I see the oil indicator coming on. I had to return back to the dealership and remind them that they forgot to reset my oil indicator. At this point, I’m doubting if they even bothered to change the oil in the first place! 4) Again I drove off and by the time I got home 8 minutes later, I see my TPMS light going off. I check and see that the drivers front side tire is almost flat. They had told me they would do complimentary checks which includes “topping off” my tire air pressure. I own a portable air compressor and I regularly check the pressure of my tires on a weekly basis, and I also bought 3 dozen BLACK valve caps from Amazon that I use in case I lose a valve cap. So this time when I check the tire, I see a SILVER valve cap which means they definitely tried to do a “complimentary air pressure top off” but only this time they were sloppy and they let almost all the air out! It could not have been me because I only own BLACK valve caps. I’m just glad there was no damage to my tire due to the flat. 5) They also said they would give me a “complimentary car wash” – which I checked in broad daylight and I can tell you that it is nothing but a glorified garden hose. I could clearly see large patches of dust on the roof and trunk of my car - and I even saw new micro scratches near the driver door handle. 6) They said they would provide “complimentary fluid top ups” so now I am worried and will be checking all the fluids in my car to make sure they didn’t screw anything else up. 7) They charged me $140 for the oil change on my vehicle. I completely understand the cost of business has risen post-pandemic. However – you charge MORE for the cars and the add-on’s, you charge MORE for the service, you TAKE AWAY amenities and space, you combine two franchises in a single existing location and its crowded up the wazoo - how is this OKAY? 8) This is NOT a one-off experience. Almost every customer in the service department was visibly and verbally exasperated – no matter if it was a Honda or Acura owner. Pfaff has taken over a well-run Sisley Honda location and turned it into a nightmare. Take any recent positive reviews since Pfaff took over with a GIANT BUCKET OF SALT. Conclusion – Avoid this location. I will strongly advise anyone I know in my social and familial circles to do so also. Find another dealership that doesn’t have the above red flags, or a trusted mechanic – or better yet, start doing your own oil changes! More

I had an appointment for just an oil change and a system update, I thought I'd be out of there in 1 - 1.5 hours tops. So I waited patiently. Good coffee btw. After 3 hours, I got my oil change for free. All this time Brendan was courteous and sympathetic. I'm hoping next service maintenance goes better cause I will return. More
