They couldn't find the problem after 4 days and said it was in the wiring and it could take up to 20 hours to find the problem. We paid the bill and picked it up still not fixed and now the tailgate doesn't go up or down. More
Beware and avoid this dealership if possible Took them our T-reg TDI with a check engine light displayed. Seemed friendly and professional at first but we were in for a big let down. They called Took them our T-reg TDI with a check engine light displayed. Seemed friendly and professional at first but we were in for a big let down. They called with a diagnosis to replace the adblue thermosat which comes in a kit with the heater, quote $589 plus taxes. Brought in the part overnight for an extra charge. Also had a long list of unnecessary work they wanted to do but I only authorized the check engine fix and an e-brake adjustment. They had the car for two days and when I followed up, they said it was on the final test run and would be ready to go shortly. When I arrived to pick it up I was shocked at the bill which was $1000+ on a quote of $589 plus the e-brake adjustment. Fortunately I was able to negotiate a reduction for the initial diagnosis and paid the balance. The biggest shock was when I jumped in the truck and started it up. Guess what, the check engine light still lit up. Given they were adamant it was fixed, either the tech lied about fixing it or the whole crew was in on it. They kept the vehicle another night and tried to find the issue saying they now thought it was a "wiring issue". At the end we we ran out of time and patience, and had zero confidence in their ability to address the issue. We own several high end vehicles and this was the worst repair experience we have had by far. I feel for anyone who owns a VW in Saskatoon and must rely on this shop for service. I only wish I had read the other reviews of this dealership before taking our vehicle there. P.S. When I finally asked for the vehicle to be returned, they returned it in unsafe condition with the spare tire unseated and unfastened in the back cargo area. In a collision, the tire could have flown through the cabin and potentially injured an occupant. The icing on the cake was nice two inch scratch they left on the rear bumper. More

The sales man spent a total for 15 minutes with me through the entire process. At one point he even left me waiting in the sales room while he went into the office and remained in there. I finally went over to the service department and sat down, and text him for my keys. I think I should have left at that point! Then the person that was actually doing all the work to get me into a new vehicle ended up getting fired.. 5 minutes before I returned his final call... I make arrangements to close the deal... that process was the least painful... I don't even receive my second set of vehicle keys ( sales man forgot I guess) they come in the mail but the key fob is dead? or doesn't work.. Then I find out because it took the dealership so long to get the check to my finance company for my trade I will be charged for interest on my trade up until the check is received. So instead of a refund for a vehicle I had for 10 days, a big fat nothing thanks to Volkswagen. Very unorganized, poor customer service. More

I was not impressed at all with the warranty side only to find out later it was not the warranty process but a bad employee, once this and other complaints were addressed by the manager it appears to run very smoothly. A special thanks to 2 members there Chris (GM) and Jeremy (service writer) who both go above and beyond my expectations to assist and get me back on the road More

Disorganized and a disaster so far Since buying my car 2 months ago it has been in the shop 4 times, all related to the air conditioning. The first time I was told nothing was wrong. Since buying my car 2 months ago it has been in the shop 4 times, all related to the air conditioning. The first time I was told nothing was wrong. Had to take it back two days later because it was still acting up. They replaced a line. Within a few days it stopped working again and the work order said a line was replaced. This time around the car has been in the shop two days with no communication. I called yesterday to ask about progress and was told they would know more at noon today. Called to check back and they said they were not sure what was happening and they would call me. Did not hear anything back from them. Completely baffled as to what the difficulty is in keeping a customer informed. I have tried to get a loaner each time my car was kept longer than a day and they only had one available one time. In addition, they used to always wash the car when it was in for service and have not done so for any of the four appointments. I had dealt with VW Saskatoon a few years back, before it changed owners, and it was great. Can say that I will not be returning to VW Saskatoon for any service appointments, apart from warranty work. I had a Honda previously and the service there is amazing!!! VW Saskatoon has been nothing but a hassle, I have had lost wages due to the incompetency, and frustrated with having to take my car in every week for the same issue. My experience with the service department at VW Saskatoon does not instill much confidence in their ability. More
