Ride Time

I brought in my newly purchased car to fix a faulty sensor. Everyone was very friendly, and I was given a rental car to use when the car was being repaired. Unfortunately, it took six trips to Ride Tim sensor. Everyone was very friendly, and I was given a rental car to use when the car was being repaired. Unfortunately, it took six trips to Ride Time before the job was completed. They had to wait a week to order the part, and then realized that they need a dealership to reset the sensor, and it took two tries to squeeze in an appointment at the dealership, after which time it was discovered that a secondary sensor was also needed. After the second sensor was ordered, I came the next day to retrieve the vehicle after being assured that it would be ready when I arrived, only to be told when I got there that the dealership mechanic forgot something and had to come back later. I feel that someone should have made an appointment with the dealership when Ride Time knew they would be needed, instead of hoping they would have time that day to do it. It would have saved me several trips from out of town. So far, though, everything seems to be working well, which is why I would still recommend them. More

I admit that I had not heard of Ride Time until I started looking for another car. I liked what I saw on the website and had a very good first impression when I visited in person. Very disappointed with the final offer for buying vehicle. Huge gap in what Auto trader stated in their Instant Cash Offer Certificate, and what Ride Time was willing to pay, to buy the vehicle. The only verbally emphasized rationale, for such a low offer from Ride Time, was chipped paint on parts of vehicle which was not a concern for me, as there was no rust, anywhere on vehicle. Those chips were barely noticeable. They did not even mention the low kilometers on vehicle. They stated a bad "VHR $3,000 damage" that to my knowledge, this car, as original owner of the vehicle, never had. I checked last week with the autobody repair, and the damage that was claimed through MPI was only $850. Ride Time contacted me within minutes of my receiving "cash offer" via Auto trader, and I am wondering if they may be affiliated. I went on Auto trader website only to find out what I could sell my vehicle for privately. I was prepared to sell the vehicle to them, and even brought the set of winter tires on rims with me. The sales fellow, Garth, stated that dealers are not interested in getting the winter tires with the vehicle. I, can not, with a clear conscience, recommend Ride Time. More
