I dealt with Sales Manager Haris Adel and Sales Manager Rick Proctor, exceptional treatment by both men and especially Rick Proctor who really went out of his way to make sure everything was to perfection with regards to my new /used 2017 Acura RDX. Highly recomend Richmond Acura.. Henry in service was also great to deal with.. I myself was a in sales in construction equipment and found the people I dealt with very profedssional Again highly recomend Richmond Acura

"DO NOT GO TO RICHMOND ACURA, WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY"

DO NOT BUY OR LEASE CARS FROM RICHMOND ACURA. GO TO NORTH SHORE ACURA, BURRARD, LOUGHEED. THIS EXPERIENCE WAS WORTH ME WRITING MY FIRST NEGATIVE REVIEW EVER AND FILED A COMPLAINT TO THE BUSINESS BUREAU AND THE VEHICLE SERVICE AUTHORITY OF BC VSABC. I HIGHLY SUGGEST ANYONE ELSE WITH A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE TO DO THE SAME OR THEY WILL CONTINUE TO STEAL YOURS AND OTHER PEOPLE'S DEPOSIT AND MONEY. READ ON FOR MY EXPERIENCE: I went to Richmond Acura to look at options for leasing a new 2018 RDX. Jane Zhang, the leasing manager ends up helping me. She offers me a deal and tells me this is the best offer. Initially, she was so nice and I actually believed her. She asked me to put a deposit of $500 down to hold the vehicle. I went to the business team after to discuss payments. I spoke with Sabrina who has been working there for 4 months. She offered tire rim and fob insurance from a 3rd party provider for $360. All together I put down $860. At this point Sabrina is trying to get information to do a credit check with honda canada to process the financing. I told her that I didn't want to do it today and lets wait until the next day. I asked her about the deposit saying, what are the subjects to the deposit and if there is a contract I need to sign. She said I'll have to talk to Jane. I went back to Jane and asked her if there is something I need to sign for deposit, and she told me no and that she will return my deposit if I don't want the deal. I said okay, worst case scenario, I decide to go to a different dealership or altogether, I don't want the car, you will return my deposit. She said we are very honest and professional, you don't need to sign anything and I will give you your deposit back. She said if you decide you don't want the car, just let me know before we process the credit check. That night I emailed her to let her know not to process the credit check. I also called her before they opened and left her two voicemails to not go through with it, and told reception to let sabrina know not to go forward with it. Of course, Sabrina went and did the credit check because Jane nor the reception did not advise her not to proceed with the application. It was approved. I spoke with Jane that day, and told her I've been shopping around and I was able to get a deal that saved me $60/month for 3 years on my leasing rate compared to her deal. She got upset and took it very personally saying how could you go and talk to someone else after I spent time helping you get that deal and that I was wasting her time. I told her that neither of our time would be wasted if she gave me the best deal, to begin with. This new deal would save me 2160 in 3 years ($60*36months). She then told me she will talk to her GM. She called me later and said they will match the price. The competitor reduced it $5 more, and I decided to go with them. When I advised her, she got upset and told me that since I wasted her time, she will not give me back my deposit. I told her I wanted to speak to her GM. The next day her GM Craig Parsans called me, and when I explained to him what happened, he told me to get a lawyer to talk to them as they put time into helping me get the deal and cleaned the car. I said you can sell that car to someone else and get that money back. He said moving forward, I will need to get a lawyer to talk to their lawyer, as they will not be giving me my deposit back. He made me feel bad for shopping for the best deal. I also tried to call sabrina back to get my tire rim and fob insurance money and the receptionist would put me on hold and say that Sabrina is with a client. They won't take my calls and refund my money. I've never been so disapointed by this type of business. Initially I left my money with burrard and lougheed, and even when I changed my mind, they've all given me back my deposit, no questions asked. I ended up buying from burrard acura as they offered me the best deal and provided me with better service. Jane showed me her true colors after she couldn't get what she wanted from me. This is the type of dealership that give car salesman a bad reputation. When it comes to leasing a brand new car, my advice to anyone looking for a car is to shop around. They all pay the same invoice cost. Look for the best price, and the best service. Richmond Acura thinks that by putting about an hour into talking to you, they deserve your $500. Please go somewhere else if you want honest service.

"Feels like dealing with a used car lot NOT what Acura should"

Purchased vehicle and was scammed through a price that was differen5 from listed price. Was told gas tank was full but less than half If you deal with used car sale make sure you go in with a hard hat. Wonder how Acura can afford this practice right in the middle of a competitve market. Our sales rep was cordial but unable to explain why th3 price was different. Further to tha5 the mange4 didn’t have the interest in understanding what the matter was.. BUYER BE AWARE
