My offer on a vehicle was devalued and I was told that I must offer the asking price of the vehicle to purchase it as there was already a offer on the vehicle for the full asking price. In Tony's words "why must offer the asking price of the vehicle to purchase it as there was already a offer on the vehicle for the full asking price. In Tony's words "why would we sell you a vehicle that we already have a higher offer for", they didn't value me as a customer and only care about extracting the maximum amount for a vehicle with little regard to customer relations and dealings. Speaking to the sales manager I was told that he would speak to Tony about his unwelcoming behavior and rude behavior with me on the phone, and told me he would email me his contact info which he did not follow through with either. I believe I was mistreated by the dealership in conversation and had a bad feeling after speaking to salesman, I expressed this to the sales manager and he had little to say to fix the situation and also didn't follow through on his word of emailing me his contact info like he said he would. I hope people can see through the guise this dealership is being run under. I see favoritism and biases being played out which leaves me with disgust and bad feeling towards this dealership. More
Great used car great staff excellent service I found a used Toyota Highlander Hybrid [HH] listed by Penticton Toyota. I asked for a CarProof report. Instantly a reply from Product Advisor Brian I found a used Toyota Highlander Hybrid [HH] listed by Penticton Toyota. I asked for a CarProof report. Instantly a reply from Product Advisor Brian Ewing with the car history. Impressed by his knowledge, we drove to Penticton. The staff at Penticton Toyota was friendly. The HH was immaculate. Brian gave us his cell number. We left the car lot with big smiles. On a straight road I pushed the pedal to test the HH’s acceleration. The HH wobbled then settled down. We explored Penticton, stayed in a hotel overnight. Sunday 8 a.m., ready to leave for Vancouver, I worried about the wobble. I called Brian. He came to the hotel. We took a drive, pushed the HH to the max but could not repeat the wobble. We agreed that I must have accelerated on a bad stretch of road. Our ride back to Vancouver in the HH was a great. Thank you Penticton Toyota for a great used car. Special thanks to Brian Ewing, who was willing to follow up on Sunday morning on his own time when asked for help. More
