Hi, Today I was at Oakridge Ford Collision Center regarding repairs that were done on my car. I learned many interesting things from personnel. In particular, I was told that original color on my car does not match painted parts because original pieces faded and became darker. I talked to two other body shops and they confirmed that side plastic pieces were not repainted while Oakridge Ford personnel tried to convinced me that side parts were repainted before and because of this Oakridge Ford can not match color. If you haven't seen my car after painting, I can send you couple pictures. Front bumper reminds me camouflage: two big black spots on grey background. I've been working in body shop for almost half a year and must tell that our owner never let car out in this kind of condition. So, lots of new and interesting information except that my car will be done properly.
