I am very disappointed with the service and communication I received during my recent visit. When I initially made the appointment by phone, I was assisted by an AI system that collected the information f I received during my recent visit. When I initially made the appointment by phone, I was assisted by an AI system that collected the information for my appointment. Two or three days later, I received a call from a representative to confirm the appointment details and the date. During that conversation, I was very clear that the main reason for making the appointment was to have my broken windshield replaced. I also mentioned that my oil change service was coming due in approximately one month, and I said that if they wanted to perform that service at the same time, I was fine with it. However, I clearly stated that the primary reason for my appointment was the broken windshield. I was told everything was confirmed, and I agreed to the appointment date. When I brought the vehicle in on the scheduled day, a young representative assisted me and told me that my vehicle was ready for its service. I immediately asked him about the windshield because, as I had explained when making the appointment, that was the main reason I was bringing the vehicle in. He told me that he had no record of the windshield replacement, but that he would make a call to check whether the windshield was available. I then asked whether I would have to pay for the windshield or whether it would be covered by my insurance. He asked me what my insurance deductible was, and I told him it was $1,000. He said he needed to find out the cost of the windshield and determine what would be involved. At that point, I left the dealership and returned home, expecting him to contact me once he had more information. However, several hours later, the only communication I received was a message telling me that my vehicle was ready to be picked up. I never received a call or any other information regarding the windshield. When I returned to the dealership to pick up my vehicle, I asked about the windshield and was told that it had not been replaced. I was understandably frustrated because the windshield was the primary reason for my appointment. I was then told that the representative had been waiting for me to call and confirm whether I wanted to pay for the windshield. That was not what I understood from our conversation. Regardless, if there was any uncertainty or if they were waiting for a decision from me, I would have expected a follow-up call. I was clearly expecting him to contact me because there was an outstanding issue that needed to be resolved, but no one ever did. I have now taken the vehicle back with the oil change/service completed, but the windshield is still broken. I will have to make another appointment and go through the process again just to have the windshield replaced. Overall, I am very disappointed with this experience. The main issue was not simply that the windshield was not replaced; it was the lack of communication, follow-up, and coordination. I clearly explained the purpose of my appointment, and I expected the dealership to follow through or, at minimum, contact me when there was an issue that prevented the work from being completed.
