I went online and wanted to know what kinda credit I could be approved for, I had a call with in minutes of hitting send. The service that I received at Oregans Green Light was impeccable. I had been to a few other dealers before I came to green light and the service that I recieved there, well lets just say I will never buy impeccable. The pushie, fast talking, "think you dont know anything" car sales personal are the most unenjoyable part of buying a car. At soon as we walked into the parking lot of green light and met Cheryl I was shocked, she was a sweet kind person, and actually listened to want I wanted. She even wrote down everything that I wanted in a car, including the budget I was comfortable with. We test drove about 4 or 5 cars, before I found the car that was right for me, and thats when I got a little worried. Usually this is when the pushiness of add ons and fancy things that you probably don't need or want. With Cheryl I didn't feel anything like that. It felt she was working for me other than the dealer. After all the deals were made for the day we were told that we actually caught Cheryl on her last day as she got a different job, so she introduced us to Anthony who would be taking over our sale and completing everything for us. Anthony impressed me just as much as Cheryl had with his personable qualities and kindness. I had to get a little work done that was included in the deal and so while that was getting done they were very helpful and offered a loaner car for me. My experience with Oregans Green Light has been amazing and I have never bought a car with such smooth a process before. It made buying this car a fun experience rather than a nerve racking one. Buying any used car is generally fraught with anxiety and tension. For that reason it's pretty hard to rate the overall experience as better than "OK". One could wish for a much more seamless process when de tension. For that reason it's pretty hard to rate the overall experience as better than "OK". One could wish for a much more seamless process when dealing between different locations and sales staff all belonging to the same dealership. However, I must say that our salesman (Keith Boulegon) pulled out all the stops to try to make our experience as good as possible. He was super-friendly, frank, and exhibited a high degree of grace under pressure throughout the process (not to mention his good sense of humour, always appropriate and very welcome). My wife and I were naturally quite cautious, and even when spending (relatively) small bucks we wanted all the assurance we could get that we would not regret our decision. I went in looking for a specific car that I had seen on-line. Keith found it for me, and got the keys for me to take a test drive. I went home and within a short period of time he called me back and said that everything was approved so I went in and did the paperwork. They put the car in for undercoating and and since i had to work I picked it up the morning after it was done. All in all it was a quick and pleasant experience. More
