2021 jeep grand cherokee,, 55,000km. ...OK let's start with we brought jeep in with a ticking rocker on passenger side of engine...also had a stutter start problem that dealers have been ...OK let's start with we brought jeep in with a ticking rocker on passenger side of engine...also had a stutter start problem that dealers have been chasing for 3 years....was charged 2 hrs diagnostic but tech only took less than hour....in that short time we were told Rocker, cam, cam phaser, cam sprocket, variable valve cyl. All needed replacing ....THIS WITHOUT KNOWING FOR SURE WHAT NEEDED REPLACING!!!! HE NEVER LOOKED (I HAVE PICS TO PROVE) Next was stutter start...tech claimed leaking injectors cause of problem...well that was NOT THE PROBLEM EVEN THOUGH NOW WE HAVE PAID TO REPLACE ALL INJECTORS PLUS LABOR) Now add to that some very questionable labor hours for work I can prove was never done (yes i question them on all of this before work was started as I am a mechanic...owned a shop for 5 years AND I TOOK PICS AND VIDEO...THANK GOD).... NOW $6400.00 DOLLARS LATER Stutter start is now worse than ever (icing on the cake is they are now saying is a fuel pump and OF COURSE THEY WANT MORE MONEY TO FIX...NOT A CHANCE IN HEL!) AND ONLY THING FIXED IS ROCKER!!! Let me also make it clear that this jeep has been dealer maintained from day one and had no codes or lights on... So have talked to a attorney and will be taking next steps to get our money back plus expenses as this was completely a tech took a guess (a $6400.00 guess) and then loaded a bunch of parts and LABOR (some labor very questionable by the way) and fixed one problem only to create more and FIXED NOTHING!!!!! Nice job nor lan!!! Oh and one other thing...WE HAVE BOUGHT 5 MINI VANS, 2 RAM TRUCKS AND A JEEP IN THE LAST 15 YEARS FROM STALLANTIS....AND THIS IS HOW THEY TREAT LOYAL CUSTOMERS...JUST WOW!!!!!! We will not be letting this go!!!! My opinion....DO NOT LET THESE GUYS CHANGE YOUR SPARK PLUGS!!!! More to come as I am very active on social media!!!!! More
