Date: August 13 2026 7h30Am Reason: parts warranty control arm strut rod glk 350 2013. If you don't value your car and life go to MB west island to get it service. I got approved for warranty be control arm strut rod glk 350 2013. If you don't value your car and life go to MB west island to get it service. I got approved for warranty because my right strut rod bushing was leaking, so fast forward i bring my car , they replace the control and do the alignment but mind you I've told them it should be replaced in pair but they only replace one side knowing the left side was failling but bushing wasn't leaking so gor them it's okay 🤣 They didn't even try to reach out to Mercedes warranty to see if they can replace both side because I'll have handling , wandering and stability problems if they replace only one side . I don't think Mercedes would've refuse i mean I've bought it so it can last like the older one and it was defective but mb west island did nothing and indeed when I received my car, on the highway car wanders etc, one side is tight and the other is not. To put the icing on the cake , i don't know who did it but my lower control ( new lemforder brand tighten at ride height stage 1 torque: 120NM I think and stage 2 torque: 180°) but bolts were loose ( see picture) when i got the car back 🤣 it was making thumping noise etc, the smart guy 🤣 who did it, round of applause, i don't know why he did it but the almighty never sleeps because that part had nothing to do with the warranty strut rod, I did not even try to go back bc it's pointless. I've tighten it back and noise when away. I've reach out To MB Canada to explain the situation i think they'll say they cannot do anything bc it's a private dealer but we'll see. Silver star Mercedes is 1000x better for and there's an excellent shop called spécialiste eurototech ask for Mehmet More
I’ve bought numerous cars outside of my city before, including in Montreal and even Toronto, and I’ve never had issues completing a deal. I’m always very upfront when I’m either selling or trading a veh including in Montreal and even Toronto, and I’ve never had issues completing a deal. I’m always very upfront when I’m either selling or trading a vehicle and I’ve had many seamless transactions over the years. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about Mercedes-Benz West Island. I reached out on a Friday morning about a Mercedes they had listed and told them I wanted to trade my Lexus toward the vehicle. I was completely transparent from the start. I disclosed minor damage on the front grille which by the way is about a $300–$400 part for the upper portion. I sent them the VIN, photos and the exact mileage. From there the process became ridiculous. It was like pulling teeth trying to get a simple appraisal. It took five full days just to get an answer on what they would offer for my trade and during that entire time I was the one constantly following up. It honestly felt like their sales team does not like money or does not want to do their job. I am in sales myself and one of the most basic things you can do is be responsive when a customer is clearly interested in buying. When I finally got an offer it was a complete lowball. I even showed them two better offers from other places and their response was that what I wanted was too high. I completely understand that a dealership needs to make money on a trade. That is normal. But the going rate for my car online is about five to seven thousand dollars more than what I was asking. Their response was that they do not want to pay market value. That makes absolutely no sense. If comparable cars are selling for five to seven thousand more than what I was asking plus tax, then what I asked for was already below market. And the tax portion does not even come out of their pocket. Between the slow communication, the lack of urgency and the unrealistic trade offer this was one of the most frustrating dealership experiences I have had. Buying a car should not feel like chasing someone down just to give them business. I would recommend looking elsewhere if you expect responsiveness and a fair evaluation of your trade. More
More
Been servicing our vehicle here for a while here. Was usually satified with service how ever the last 2 years quality has dimished. We had a major recall done, took over a month to get it completed, after completetion we had to return to dealership 6 times with issues since the recall, 6th time the engine ceased. They took zero responsibility. As you can tell from the overall reviews, others have similar opinions. I would stay away from this dealership. More
Beware! This dealership is a shame and will lie just to make the sale. Don’t say you weren’t warned. The service manager is a joke. This dealership is a shame and will lie just to make the sale. Don’t say you weren’t warned. The service manager is a joke. More
***Sous toutes réserves*** ***AVOID MERCEDES-BENZ WEST ISLAND*** **Worst Experience Ever - EQE 350 4MATIC 2023** My wife leased an EQE 350 4MATIC 2023, her second car from Mercedes-Benz West Island, ISLAND*** **Worst Experience Ever - EQE 350 4MATIC 2023** My wife leased an EQE 350 4MATIC 2023, her second car from Mercedes-Benz West Island, and it was the worst experience ever. The sales process was full of relentless pressure—they kept us at the dealership past closing time, were applying pressure and blatantly lied about the car's residual value and electricity consumption. But that was just the beginning. The car had issues from the start, and eventually, it completely stopped in the middle of the road while she was driving on a boulevard. Concerned for her safety, we brought the car to their service department and discussed it with management. They completely ignored our concerns and even gaslighted us. After a week with little to no communication, we discovered through the MercedesMe app that a mechanic had been driving her car, thinking it was a demo! HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN? We confronted him by going to a location he was with her car and he admitted he had the same problem—the car stopping suddenly in the middle of the road. When we addressed this with Michael, the assistant manager, he refused to take responsibility & said that the mechanic was ‘’test driving it’’ which is a lie as the mechanic himself told us he thought the car was a demo. A few days later, we met with Gerry, the General Manager, and it was the worst display of management I've ever seen. He screamed at us and offered no help whatsoever. Even now, they don’t know what’s wrong with the car and have deemed it unsafe to drive. Their so-called solution? Pay $50,000 out of pocket, and they’ll finance it on the next car—all for a car that doesn’t work and is a threat to everyone’s safety. It’s unbelievable that this dealership is allowed to operate without taking responsibility. Our next step is legal action because enough is enough. More

My experience with Mercedes-Benz West Island was incredibly disappointing. Initially, I was attracted by a promotion offer, only to find out that I couldn't qualify due to a family member purchasing incredibly disappointing. Initially, I was attracted by a promotion offer, only to find out that I couldn't qualify due to a family member purchasing a Benz just weeks prior. Apparently, their loyalty program restricts benefits to only one family member, which was news to me. Despite this setback, I decided to explore other options. However, upon attempting to cancel my dealings with West Island, I was bombarded with calls from a representative named Michel Dropsy, who insisted on retaining me as a customer. After expressing my desire for the same deal elsewhere, he assured me they could match it. However, when it came time to finalize the agreement, I was shocked to discover numerous hidden fees and charges that weren't disclosed earlier. They claimed these additional expenses were necessary due to the nature of their deal compared to the one I found elsewhere. As if that wasn't enough, the financial manager, Atif, further increased the total due by an additional $3000, making the overall cost substantially higher than what was initially agreed upon. Their lack of transparency and sudden increase in costs left me feeling frustrated and deceived. In the end, I chose to walk away from Mercedes-Benz West Island and found a much better deal elsewhere. The experience has left a sour taste in my mouth, and I would caution others to beware of their questionable business practices. BTW : I attempted to inquire with Michael regarding the fate of my $500 deposit, but regrettably, his responses were rather nebulous and lacked clarity. More
Bought a GLC 2019 pre owned in August and have had 2 incidents post sales that leave me disappointed. 1.
