I brought my Kia Sorento in for a recall. I wanted to wait for it and was expecting the nice waiting area with the nice setting and coffee with granola bar. 😊 I didn’t know you were under I wanted to wait for it and was expecting the nice waiting area with the nice setting and coffee with granola bar. 😊 I didn’t know you were under construction so a suggestion is to let the customers know ahead of time. I worked in the drive through area but no power for my computer.. Just a suggestion and promotes customer satisfaction. I had the driver take me home and. Ring me back so all is good. Thanks. More

To Whom It May Concern, I wanted to bring to your attention a few items that occurred with my recent visit for repairs to my 2017 Silver KIA Optima on July 17th, 2025. First off, I have been bringing attention a few items that occurred with my recent visit for repairs to my 2017 Silver KIA Optima on July 17th, 2025. First off, I have been bringing my KIA to your dealership since 2023/2024 after discovering that another business was installing the wrong size oil filter in my KIA and thus causing problems. Your service and your staff have always been exceptional in the past that's why I am hoping that what transpired on July 17th is an exception to the rule. I brought my KIA in as I was getting a check engine light on the dashboard. I initially brought my Kia in for it's regular oil change on July 2, 2025 and spoke to Glenn about the check engine light and asked him to do diagnostics to uncover the problem. It was discovered that I had an exhaust leak and parts needed to be ordered prior to repair. Glenn told me I'd get a call when the parts were in to book an appointment for installation. On July 9th at 4:30 pm, I received a text message from Becky telling me the parts had arrived and the earliest booking she had was July 16th. I booked in for 8:30 am on July 17th. I arrived on time, and Glenn assisted me. He arranged an UBER for me as the courtesy shuttle wouldn't be back for 45 mins. He assured me that the work would be completed before closing and "someone" would contact me when the car was ready for pick and arrange the shuttle to come and get me. I tried several times starting at 3:00 pm to contact the service department but kept going to VM. Reception kept forwarding me to Service Department which went to VM. NO ONE contacted me on Thursday to let me know that the work on my car was complete. At 8:00 am on Friday July 18th, I called and I was able to find out that my car was ready for pick-up. I asked why I was not called yesterday and was told that Glenn left early for vacation on Thursday afternoon and no one knew to contact me as the paperwork was on Glenn's desk. Needless to say I was upset but I was willing to let the oversight slide. When I tried to start my car in the lot, initially, the engine wouldn't turn over. Strange...but I tired again and it started...I noticed the headlights were in the on position so I turned them off and drove home without problem. I parked the car in my driveway. When I tried to leave at 12 noon from my home on July 17th for an appointment, the car wouldn't start. The battery was dead. I have CAA and they came and gave me a jump. They said that the battery had only 12 % charge but since I had to drive to my appointment 25 mins away that I should be fine for a recharge. On Saturday, I drove the car to the gym and back at 8:30 am without problem but by 12 noon on Saturday July 19th, the car once again wouldn't start. CAA was called and they jumped the car again. Diagnostics revealed that the battery had less than 2% charge left and I had to purchase a new battery on the spot. I wasn't having battery issues until I brought my car into KIA on the July 17th, so I guessing leaving my headlights on all night killed what was left of my car battery. I'm currently on Long Term Disabilty and thus on a fixed income. I would appreciate some type of compensation for this incident. As I said, I have always been very pleased with the service at your dealership but I am now seriously thinking of taking my business elsewhere. More
