We bought a used Jeep in June. Biggest mistake we made EVER. We have purchased used and new vehicles before and never an issue with having to have the wheel torqued. We had lo Biggest mistake we made EVER. We have purchased used and new vehicles before and never an issue with having to have the wheel torqued. We had lost a lug nut and the vibration was so bad we could not drive over 20 km to get to the dealership. No one told us we needed to have the wheels torqued after 400 km. Next issue came 6 months later. December 7, 2025 - Driving to Toronto on the 401 we lost power to the gas and managed to get to the shoulder. We had the jeep towed to Kitchener Chrysler on a Sunday and on Monday morning i tried to call the service department to let them know our Jeep was there, but i could only leave a message. By 10:00 a service tech called and asked why my jeep was there. (so far no one had checked the messages on their answering service, no name was given either) I told him what had happened. He said he was too busy to look at his bays where full. he was not very helpful and rude. I asked if someone could call me back and let me know when something could be done. A day later on Tuesday i received a text indicating that it needed parts for the differential and two axles. They could get all but one axle and no eta on the final part. I asked about a loaner car till our jeep was fixed and i was told that i should rent a vehicle. I made the decision to remove our jeep and take it somewhere else. Glad i did. We had our Jeep returned to us in 2 weeks. When i had our Jeep picked up the man in the service bay was not very helpful. I had asked if anything had been done and if i could drive it out of the parking space for the tow truck. He told me they didnt touch anything and no idea if the Jeep drives. Only good thing here is that there was no charge for the diagnostic. I called Jeep and talked to a very lovely person there who was very helpful and transferred me to the Service Manager, who i did talk to. He was nice enough to take my call and after I gave him my experience he advised he would have the General Manager call me. It is now Jan 20 and the General Manager has not yet call. I am very disappointed that i was treated to badly. I will never advise anyone to buy or have their vehicle serviced here. To add to our history, my daughter also purchased a used Jeep at the same time we did. She had a similar story and her jeep was in the shop for 3 weeks. Never again and i will tell everyone no to go to Kitchener Chrysler More
Went to Kitchener Chrysler Jeep Ram for years formally known as Wendell Motors….i have recently brought my Ram 1500 Classic in for my brakes to be machined as I was having some vibration from my rear brak known as Wendell Motors….i have recently brought my Ram 1500 Classic in for my brakes to be machined as I was having some vibration from my rear brakes. Kitchener (Wendell) called me stating that my brakes were very low and they would recommend new brakes. I said, “ok go ahead and replace them; rotors and pads. I was assuming that they would replace my brakes for the same quality which was already on my Ram….!!! A few hours later when I received my Ram; paid $1500 and change for the new brakes. Took authority of my truck from the dealer was driving home applied the brakes and each time heard and felt a thump/ grind from my brakes. I took it back to Kitchener (Wendell) and requested for them to take a look as my brakes weren’t functioning normally after the install of the new brakes. They took a look! Alex (manager) came over to me explaining that my brakes had to “bed-in” I explained it never took this long for them to do this (bedding-in). He said take a week and if they are still giving problems to return and “he” will help me…. (He states, he has my back)! I leave Kitchener (Wendell), drive for 2 weeks and still have the same sounds coming from the brakes! I call Alex, arrange for an appointment take my truck in again, speak to him and he replaces my rear brake pads… stating it’s faulty pads. I leave the dealership drive for a couple of days … still the same sounds coming from the brakes…I call Alex once again explaining that the brakes are not bedding in…Alex say bring it in again! Before taking my truck in I decided to take a good look at my receipt and do some research. I find out that my brakes were placed with “AFTERMARKET PARTS - BPROAUTO brakes” this of which I DID NOT ask for. I was “assuming” they would have replaced my parts; that were already on my Ram with OEM parts”. I went in to Kitchener (Wendell Motors) spoke to Alex, he had a mechanic drive with me to see if the sounds/reaction of the brakes I was hearing could be replicated. The mechanic (Danny) stated “it “sounds” like aftermarket brake pads… I stated “really” why would you say that?! Danny explained to me that the aftermarket pads don’t react to same way OEM pads react when applied…I asked why did they use aftermarket parts on my truck when I “never” requested the use of these parts…. Danny stated they are cheaper than OEM brakes and they started using BPROAUTO on all the older vehicles. Danny said “most guys” don’t care about the sound/reaction of the brake… to just turn the tunes up and try to drown it out!!! “That was funny” seeing how I just dropped $1500 in their laps for an unsatisfactory product!!! We drove back to Kitchener (Wendell Motors), Danny exited my Ram and went to speak to Alex. A few minutes late Danny came back to me and said,”we (Kitchener Chrysler Jeep Ram) will order OEM brakes for you; but you, (I), will have to pay for the labour! Also, if there are issues with the brakes after install they WILL NOT HELP to fix the problem…!!! I COULDN’T believe what I heard from them… they did not install the proper brake sets and now that they realize they made a mistake they are CHARGING “me” for THEIR ERROR and telling my too bad if they install the OEM parts improperly I’m SOL!!! It’s a SHAME , Kitchener (WendellMotors) turned into this “type” of dealership!!! I used to believe they were above the rest… giving them praise on yelp and google reviews but no more…. Those days are done!!! So now I a STILL driving with the aftermarket brakes on my RAM. THANKS KITCHENER (WENDELL MOTORS) for you awesome customer service! I guess nothing stays the same FOREVER! More

I am angry with the service. I left with a very bad wobbly tire. On the 401 My whole car was vibrating so bad I pulleg off the highway. Had to get a tow truck to take me and my c I left with a very bad wobbly tire. On the 401 My whole car was vibrating so bad I pulleg off the highway. Had to get a tow truck to take me and my car back to Wendells. I originally went in for oil change and tire change. I could have been killed on the 401 if my tire came off my car. My tow bill should have been paid by Wendells. I was told that the guys doing the tire change and oil change are only lube guys and don't check the tires after they change them. I told them about feeling a shimmy in the front end and possibly could they check the tires. All tires should be checked when changed. I ended up having a bad ball joint. This would have been found had the guy check to see if the tires were checked to see if they wiggled back and forth. I still have a bad shimmy in my front end. I expect Wendells to step up and pay my bill. I have been a customer for more then 15 years. I will never do business with them again and I am still stuck with my tires not running properly. More
Magical Car Buying Experience! !! Best dealership in Kitchener - trust me I went to 19 recently none come close. I was in the market for a new SUV and scouted dealers ( Jeep, !! Best dealership in Kitchener - trust me I went to 19 recently none come close. I was in the market for a new SUV and scouted dealers ( Jeep, Audi, Acura, Merc), but what got me hooked to Wendell is the experience - awesome deal, knowledgeable sales team and great overall experience. Hamid was our Sales rep - he went out of his way to make it happen for us. Gave us a great deal, found my perfect Jeep with all the options, color etc I wanted and got me in the car within 2 weeks. Kept us informed at every step. Every time I went in, Hamid would come out to the lot to greet us and welcome us in - a very small gesture but adds a lot of character/warmth to the buying experience. I would buy another car from him in a heartbeat. Shawn from finance literally lights up the dealership -Great vibes and energy. Happened to go in for service this past week and met Jeannine from Service - the same rich experience. The experience and care is what made me buy here. Thanks Mazeed More

I would give them 0 starts if I could. Brought my 2012 Dodge Journey to them in Feb 2021. Engine light on. $2100 later, plus found out that my car had a recall from 2017 - so that was probably another $ Dodge Journey to them in Feb 2021. Engine light on. $2100 later, plus found out that my car had a recall from 2017 - so that was probably another $2500 paid to them from Dodge. 1 day later, leaking oil. Brought it back & they claimed if was the oil gap and they noticed it wasn't great but didn't mention it or fix it.....my guess is that they cracked it & hoped I wouldn't notice. So another $500 which I refused to pay since the day it went in never leaked oil but 2 hours when home was leaking. so they only charged me $250. Engine light came on again - literally 6 weeks after all that work, dropped off at 9:30am, i had to call them 2 times, to find out that they want me to pay $200 for new gas cap diagnostic check..NEVER did they mention any costs or call me to ask me. I only brought it there since I assumed it was under warranty or they would look at their crappy work. I am so Upset, I will never bring it there again. I will be phoning head office to complain and wish we had read the reviews before I brought it there. Absolutely horrific. do work on car, don't quote and then expect to me pay another $200 for this. NEVER will recommend them. I hope people read these reviews before they get any service there or think of buying a vehicle. LV ps. gave them 3 for service because they are really nice they way they tell you that they are x you!! More
