Beware servicing your car at Hamel. The service department takes advantage of customers by using jobber parts while charging for originals. They also don't advise clients of this until The service department takes advantage of customers by using jobber parts while charging for originals. They also don't advise clients of this until you pay and it's written on the receipt. They also charge twice as much for labor in comparison to other authorized bmw dealers. They charged almost 8 hrs for a 4 hr job in comparison to other dealerships. They also failed to return old parts even though you advise them to leave it in the trunk and when you inform them they had to look 30 min for the old part having just finished the work. Incompetence would be an understatement.. When I called other bmw dealerships for a quote for the same work thereafter I was quoted several hundreds less with original parts. Other dealership also stated they do not use jobbers. When I called to speak to the director they take no accountability for their actions and throw in a snide remark. I would definitely avoid this dealership at all costs. I would definitely not recommend servicing your car at this dealership. If I wanted jobbers I would have went to a mom & pop garage not an authorized dealer. More
