"New To Me Subaru"

Had a terrific experience purchasing my 2015 Crosstrek from Gold Fleet in North Bay, Ontario. Salesman, Denis Marion was excellent to deal with and very knowledgeable. I live in Sudbury, found the car online. We managed to work out a great deal via emails and phone calls. When I picked up the car it was exactly as promised. Highly recommended.

"Goldfleet Rocks"

When Brendon moved, I was had no interest in a new car until, mine was involved in an accident. So to say the least. I drove all the way there just to deal with him. "Worst car buying experience ever!!!!"

Initially we were somewhat happy with our car buying experience. We got what we thought was the car we wanted. Reasonable price for the car we thought we were getting. Salesperson was somewhat pushy, but what used car salespeople are not pushy? We were happy(ish) with the car for about a year, then my wife was in a small collision. All the body shops we took the car to for estimates on repair made comments on previous repair to the car. We then paid the $60 to get the carproof report. We were shocked to see that the car had been in 3 major accidents (totalling $20000 in repair costs) prior to us purchasing it. The law states that any repairs over $3000 must be disclosed on the bill of sale. This was not done. The offers they made to us involved us paying more money, buying a newer car, or trading to a car of lesser value. OMVIC was little help. I guess dealers with individuals on the board of directors with OMVIC don't have to follow disclosure laws. Subaru has a great AWD system, which is why we bought this car. Too bad we will never buy another.
