Elgin Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram

Unbelievable Expierence I was on the market for a good used truck and looking for a specific truck. I found the truck I was looking for at this dealership. I bought the truck I was on the market for a good used truck and looking for a specific truck. I found the truck I was looking for at this dealership. I bought the truck over the phone and that was the first mistake on me, trusting this dealership was telling the truth. I was never told this truck was previously a tow truck, i only noticed once the sales person sent me a few more pictures I requested and noticed there was no hitch. The sales person went on to say this was a truck owned by a farmer that pulled his horses and it had a special hitch and that's why their was no hitch. They had one put on and told me no cost, which i thought was good of them. Only to find it on my bill once I reviewed it. I then noticed that the insurance for loss of life and disability I declined was put on my bill. I then found out that the dealer ship put the truck in my wife's name since we used her plates. I went to get a fifth wheel hitch installed to find out that the truck had all kinds of brackets welded to the frame for the tow truck hitch. They were horribly cut out and looked horrendous. The exhaust also exited under the truck and thanks to the poor installation job done by whom ever installed the tow lift they had holes drilled into the cab and exhaust was going into the cab. The dealership actually safetied it like this. I contacted them about the exhaust issue and they paid for what it cost to have the exhaust exit out the side of the truck. I agreed to monthly payments and then got weekly. I've had nothing but problems with this truck and its no cheap truck 3500 mega cab long horn, but I've been taken for a ride from this dealership. I've tried contacting them and spoke with the owner just to get ignored. please be careful and do not trust them, the most UNBELIEVABLE EXPIERENCE BUYING A $70000 TRUCK More
