"Edson dodge don’t waste your time "

Edson dodge what a friggen joke! Bought a truck from them ... we are on holidays it’s plus 30 and it’s my husband birthday wanted to kept the truck cold so I left the phob in the truck and took the key out locked the doors to find out the key doesn’t go with the truck... lost over 227 in groceries because of there mistake ... their answer was we could have called road side Assiant hard to do when you leave your phones in the truck!! So happy birthday to my husband and I love throwing out 227 worth of food!! Way to go to Edson dodge I’ll be back to fox ALL your xxxx up and then will never set foot in your doors again!!! Lol and Wendy told us we must not be doing it right here a picture of the two different cut keys !! And I could go on about all the other xxxxs up we have there too with this truck! Not being detailed when it was supposed to I had to bring it back which is a long drive from whitecourt

"By Far the worst Service department I have ever dealt with "

So going back to the first issue i had with Edson Chrsyler and the horrible, disorganized, lack of knowlegde and detail. I went to Edson Chrysler to purchase a level kit (4 corner) the parts guy ordered it and called me when it came in, i went to pick it up and he looked it over with me and reassured me that it was what i needed. so as it always happens i did not have time to get it installed i was working. so at some point i took time to book my truck in at a shop to instrall the level kit and hopefully somer tires. the shop called and told me the truck is on the hoist and the kit is the wrong one. I then called Edson Chrysler and ask them if it was the correct kit and after they checked and called around indeed it was the wrong kit for my truck. so here it is sitting on a hoist and no kit. so of course it is left up to me to find the correct kit now and make sure it gets to the shop to install it. then i priced tires at Edson Chrysler and parts guy gives me a price for good year wranglers. i call back two days later and the other parts guy says oh no those tires are not that price but then gives me another much higher price.. needless to say i did not order tires there. I took the truck to Edson Chrsyler again to have a wheel aglinement done for a soft pull to the right and check the shake in the steering wheel and ask them to check my air filter as i had been on dusty roads for a long period of time. I picked the truck up and the light coating of dust that was on my air filter cover had not even been touched, so I asked service why they had not checked my air filter and they said they should have and of course my response was that yes you should have as per my request but it was clear that they had not. so i was not happy as we all know a plugged air filter could be the death of a deisel engine. Then i left and the truck went in for a soft pull to the right and came out with a horrible pull to the left. so back in it goes and aftewr the third try they got it right. i wanted to order bug deflector and rain guards for the truck and after talking to parts they brought out a black bug guard and chrome rain guards with out asking me if i wanted black or chrome. I requested we lok at the products to see if they were correct for my truck and again not the right ones they were for shorter rear doors on the rain guards and for a sport hood. all this time I had the general manger call me and tell she would be correctin g the problems with her dealership and she told me they are a dealership that wants to succeed with customer care. So after all my issues with this truck on my trip to Ottawa area. the overheating the heated mirror doesnt work. the light on back of mirror flickering. the inner fender falling out and i had to black tape it in. i again sent my truck to edson chrysler after my holidays with the hopes that the general manager was right to say she was trying to lead on custome service. After explaining the problems to service and showing the service guy John pictures of the heat gauges and check engine light and all the problems. john told me that the inner fender was normal and said that him and the tech looked at other trucks and everything was the same. so i went to dealer and tooked john out to my truck and ask him if he thought the black tape i was appling to keep the inner fender in place was a fashoin statement. then i should him that the drivers side inner fender had been falling out and rubbing against the tire and it was clearly wore on a 45 degree angle. he then says of we didnt see that . but prior had told me him and the tech verified that my truck and a few others were the same. so the heated mirror and the light on the back side of the mirror were diagnosed as faulty at a dealership in Pembroke Ont and they said it need to be replced under warranty and even ordered the parts. As i was on holidays at the time the parts did not come in time so i was adviced to just have the issues fixed when i got back to alberta. so i told edson chrysler and they said they could not warranty it and would have to charge me 305.00 for parts and lab. i asked why they will not warranty the fan for the overheating issue and they said because it is working again so they can not. i showed them the work order from Kenora Chrysler and it clearly staes that the fan needed to be replaced as it had failed. so yesterday after i was told nothing would be warrantied and i could come get my truck by end of day. i waited for john in service to call me and he did not so i called at eight pm just as they would be closing and john told me i could not pick up my truck because the tech that was to replace a exhaust part on another customers truck had put it on my truck and now they would have to pull the part from my truck and reinstall the factory part back on mine and then i could pick it up the next day. so when i went today to pick up my truck there was an older guy there with john in service and i ask why this happen with putting the part on my truck and he said it happens all the time. well i have never had that happen before and it should definetly not happen. so even after all my grief and after i had to makle special trip in to show john in service were the inner fender was wore Edson Chrysler still charged me to look at the over heating issue 125.00 the attitude that john in service has is by far one of the most ignorant and the attitude from the older guy at service today was not much better. so between parts and service lacking knowledge they are not at all pleasent to deal with. I may not be the easiest at times to deal with over a truck that has had a new engine at 17000 km and none stop issues from then on. but as sevice and parts they are held to a standard that this DEALERSHIP DOESNT MEET AT ALL . AS FAR AS WHO I ALL DEALT WITH IN NAMES I DONT REMEBER ALL THE NAMES. I do remeber John and Wendy I beleive the couple times i talked with wendy she was telling me what i wante dto hear.

"Truck had power issues/ wife brought truck into Edson Chrysl"

My wife was travelling back from BC to Edmonton, when my 2006 Dodge diesel truck went into limp mode east of Hinton. She brought the truck into Edson Chrysler where the advisor John Kovacsics made her feel right at home. (thanks for all the help )He then got mechanic Jimmy Fraser to scan / perform a courtesy inspection which showed cylinders 4,5 and 6 were not firing (limp mode ).Although I got my truck towed to Stony Plain for repairs, I appreciate your professionalism and honesty. THANK YOU AGAIN!!!

"AWESOME service !!!"

On March 16th while driving to Edmonton my van had a flat tire. We went to your business to see if it could be repaired or replaced. There was a line up of customers in front of us, so you offered Kyle to drive us to Walmart to shop and have dinner, while we waited. Kyle picked us up, brought us back to dealership, only to be tole tire was not fixable, and needed to be replaced. You did not have tire on hand, so you had offered Kyle to drive me to Canadian tire to purchase the tire. While at Canadian tire, not only did Kyle come in with me, but he looked on sale rack, told service clerk what I needed, reminded me to use my Mastercard when paying ( my daughter reminded me when we left dealership), he carried to his vehicle, and then put onto my van when we got back to dealership. They charged me only for the tire repair as well.. My family had been on the road since 5:00am, and had 4 kids in the van with us. Not only did you staff help us with our tire, but they were courteous, friendly and funny too. You helped make a crappy situation into a great memory, A huge shout out to KYLE "my new best friend" as we referred to him. THANK YOU !!

I took my Jeep Cherokee in to have the engine hot indicator checked. Not only did they fix it but also checked on other issues such as the oil temperature sensor. They also provided a courtesy inspection of my vehicle which was impressive. I have always been incredibly pleased with the service of Edson Chrysler and I have been a loyal customer for numerous years now. Hi. To be honest this dealership is terrible. I get sometimes people have rough times. And they give you the opportunity to correct and restart. But dont lie to me. Dont sell me something that isn't what I wanted. And tell me I can trade later and not let me trade. Avoiding us, running my credit just to deny me 3 times. Making plans that are false. This place is a joke.

"Top of the line service"

The people here are wonderful, I am young but they took me seriously and were incredibly accommodating to my needs. They helped explain every question and concern I had. They drove me to get the car, took me to the liscence office, helped me find an insurance office and checked up on me after a week or so of driving. Cody was my salesman and I could not have asked for a better one. I would highly recommend buying a car here.
