" Sales and service suck"

Have had terrible service from day 1 of purchasing a 2014 ford focus titanium hatchback. Can never have service in one day. Always 2 or 3 trips to have service done. Clutches have been replaced three times and are gone again. Common problem but never have the parts in stock. Have to be ordered from US. Have waited couple of weeks with no call back only to find the parts nev er got ordered. Backup camera problems took 4 trips to have fixed. First time was told it was the camera itself but the camera worked just no grid lines. Again had to wait for parts that did not get ordered again. Put in new camera and guess what. Same way and was told it was fixed. Got in the car and was same as when I took it in plus rear hatch panel not installed correct and paint all scratched. Service person had no idea what he was doing. Finally got it fixed the last time found to have a brocken connection. Have had a 7:30 appointment in the morning for new tires to be installed and alignment. Five hours later the tire were installed but alignment not finished. Was asked if I could take the car as is and come back in a couple of hours for the alignment. Took the car and never went back. Their reason only two alignment machines and were busy. My appointment was first thing in the morning at 7:30???? Went in to trade for a new 2017 ford focus hatch and had an agreed on price papers were signed and was told to call my insurance company, they were to install new winter tires I went home and cleaned out my car and put new summer tires in vehicle. Next day no one calls so I called them. Told me the numbers they gave me were incorrect and that it would cost about 4000 more. Hung up and have never received a call back or anything. DO NOT GO TO DOWNEY FORD ANYWHERE

"Ignorance with ford diesels. ripoff!!"

Brought my 7.3 e450 to for diagnostic, low power symptoms. They checked the wiring harness linked to the idm and said it wasn't the cause, among other things checked. Paid $800 for 4 hours. They couldn't solve the problem, I could afford to pay for additional work. A diesel friend of a friend Joe, worked on it and found a broken wire in the harness between idm and pcm. It's fixed!! Downey ford service are the worst garage for diesel, they know nothing, period!! They even said I had bad fuel at the end.. unbelievable!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR DIESELS TO DOWNEY FORD IN SAINT JOHN! (The parts department are the best)

Downey staff failed on 2 attempts to reply to website inquirys. The staff appraised my trade as a 2 wheel drive when I brought in a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Even after I pointed this out they offered me $6000.00 below wholesale value. I never received a call from the sales staff after I visited the showroom. Downey is not interested in giving their customers a fair deal.
