I brought my car for service in and around March, 2025, to fix the check engine, warning light and check engine light issue. Classic Honda diagnosed it and told me that issue is related to engine oil rocker switch. I paid~$450 to replace the engine oil rocker switch, believing and trusting diagnostic provided by Classic Honda. However, despite paying for the replacement, the issue persisted and I took my car in for a second diagnostic, after which, service advisor at Classic Honda told me that the oil rocker switch was improperly placed during repairs and that the issue has “resolved”. Couple of days after the second diagnostic, the lights lit up on the dashboard of my car once again, I called Classic Honda again and this time asked them what was going on. The service advisor asked me to meet Jonathan, the manager, one of most clueless and downright rude sales manager, I have ever met. His job to make excuses to convince your car can breakdown within 48 hours and 300 km after leaving Classic Honda and that “anything” could happen “anytime”. Nonetheless, Jonathan asked me to get my vehicle in for the “third” diagnostic — when the “second” diagnostic came clear. Now, this time, Classic Honda said to me that VTS sensor and spool valve are faulty and are needed to be replaced for ~$1550, to my shock and dismay. The larger issues and question is that why did Classic Honda fail to inform the customers of the real problem at first go, and fraudulently misrepresent to its customers of a non-existent issue that is not related to the complain of the customer in order to fleece customers of their hard-earned money? Jonathan turned my request for a refund when the problem didn’t get fixed and asked me to leave. I don’t know how many other Classic Honda horror stories lie out there besides mine. Classic Honda will promise you fixes and take your money only for you, as customer, to regret dealing with them later. Beware. More
Went to the dealership on a whim because my friend who got her Honda HRV 2025 for $220 bi weekly. I ended up signing a lease on a 2025 HRV not fully realizing what the actual damage would amount upto whe got her Honda HRV 2025 for $220 bi weekly. I ended up signing a lease on a 2025 HRV not fully realizing what the actual damage would amount upto when I signed the bill of sale & made a$1000 deposit with a payment of $320 bi weekly. Later that evening I changed my mind letting Jordan Chong that I cannot afford it & would like my deposit back. He said fine. Next day his colleague calls me saying what can he do to make things better since he really wants to make the sale coz if the end of the month. I said I want my money back & we hung up yet he was not finished with me & kept trying to make the deal happen. Eventually I ended up agreeing to a $1,411 down payment on a 5 year lease with already a -$10,000 lien on my 2025 Chevy Trailblazer with less than 8,000 km . Once I saw the bill of sales I recalculated & learned I’m in way over my head with 130 of $294 bi weekly payment & then the buyout of $13,300. So altogether I would be paying over $52,000. I changed my mind but the manager same as mentioned with other unsatisfied customers telling me that the papers have been signed & I have to take the car. I never drove, sat or even know where it is. The manager is refusing to return my down payment & now telling me he is taking me to court. Never goto that dealership with a manger who so uncaring that one individual like me who went to the classic Honda dealership with Hoping to have bi weekly car payment to make it less than $254 bi weekly & now getting stuck with $294 bi weekly with a $1,411 down payment. I have too many issues to deal with & got pushed into a deal which is more costly than I imagined. Now I have to wait to see the GM on Monday & talk to a counsel for his advice. The unnecessary headache this manager caused me is not worth going to this dealership again. I told them I will be back when the time is right. Yet he just shooed me out of the office. He said since the new ownership has been issued the HRV is now a used car. What kind of lies Honda dealership at van Kirk Brampton classic Honda are feeding to their clients ? I would like my down payment back & will look into a counter suit for causing a lot of stress when this was not needed on both sides. Lakshya the sales agent told me to come today & not yesterday & will have my deposit returned & give me back my ownership of my original car but today he said he will try in front of the manager. When I said this is xx the manager said they don’t tolerate this kind of behaviour yet at the end of our chat he shooed me out of the office after telling his sales agent to send the paperwork to their legal team. This experience was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend this dealership to anyone looking for honest and respectful service. More
