We have had some problems with the service department in the past year and, therefore, you are not the mechanic we go to. We bought a 2014 Nissan Versa for our daughter in August 2015. When it was in your shop getting final things done to it (upholstery repair etc) she had a car accident with my car. Her Nissan them sat in our driveway and was not used much for many months. When we tried to start it last winter we could not. We boosted the battery many times and it would charge but then die again the next day. My husband decided we should get a new battery. He tried Canadian tire and a few places but could not find the right battery. He went to your mechanic shop, thinking since we bought it there, they would know where to find the battery. Dennis, the Service Manager, ordered a battery which did not fit. We retuned it and he was very unhelpful, basically saying he had no idea where to find a battery for the car. Kind of ridiculous given that we bought it there and there has to be a battery for it. We ended up going to our mechanic, he did some research and found that the battery for the car was listed incorrectly so he got a battery for us. Dennis could have done the same research and helped us I would think, instead of us running around all over the place. Last week I had my car in for a safety and oil change, in order to transfer it to my son, as I just bought the Town and Country from you. It turned out that the car needed some work but Dennis was unable to do it in time for me to transfer it to my son on Saturday, which was the only day we could do it as my son works in Toronto. I was not happy. He did try to help but was unable to. The next morning when Amber called to tell me there was a problem with the tires on my new van, I told her this story because it had become a logistical nightmare. She called me back and asked me to bring the car in right away and they would do the brakes. My understanding was there were a couple of no shows on Saturday morning so they were able to do it. Perhaps, Dennis could have called me and told me this and asked if I wanted to come in and get my brakes done since I was extremely clear on Friday about how this was going to present a very big problem. (As an aside I do not know what happened that the tires on the van got messed up but Amber was excellent in rectifying the problem). Also, the upholstery repairs done to the Nissan did not hold with the patch coming off. More
