I recently just purchased a vehicle from this dealership. The experience was incredible dissapointing and misleading from start to finish. It's next to impossible to communicate with anyone consistently from this dealership and seems that Noone is on the same page. I was dealing with a finance manager to close the deal on Friday, the deal didn't get closed and monday rolled around and he was on days off till Wednesday without relaying anything about my ongoing case. The manager raised his voice with me on the phone and got quite aggressive. I would very highly recommend sourcing out a different dealership at all costs. I had a very bad experience with Car On Auto. I bought a Lexus RX350 for over $39,000 CAD and was wrongly charged over $3,000 in taxes. We reached an agreement that I would pay the tax upfront and once I provided the Bill of Lading (BOL) confirming the car was exported, the tax would be refunded. I submitted all the required documents, but Car On Auto has refused to keep their side of the agreement and return my money. This is unfair, unprofessional, and feels dishonest. Buyers should be very careful dealing with this dealership. More
Although the sales experience was very good my car has been a nightmare every since. I purchased a 2018 Honda CR-v with 133 k. I have had numerous warnings lights that started the last day of the dealer warranty period. I have had to the dealer a number of times who charge a minimum $225 just for the diagnostic. So far I have changed the battery, turbo charger, water pump, head gasket and have put 153k on it. My tab is around 7k so far. I get the sense this was an auction car which was "rode hard and put away wet". My recommendation is to buy an extended warranty if you purchase a vehicle here. More
I’m extremely disappointed with the service and lack of support we’ve received from Car-On Auto Sales following the purchase of our 2022 Toyota Highlander Platinum Edition. We recently discovered a seri support we’ve received from Car-On Auto Sales following the purchase of our 2022 Toyota Highlander Platinum Edition. We recently discovered a serious issue with the AC system: a leak in the high-pressure line located at the rear of the vehicle, along with a noticeable Freon leak (which you can actually hear when the vehicle is turned off) and Freon staining on the insulated pipe. This has left us with a vehicle that blows warm air—completely unacceptable, especially as we have a newborn baby and rely on the AC daily. Despite the car being a recent purchase and this issue being well-documented among other Highlander owners (suggesting a potential defect), the dealership has refused to take any responsibility or provide assistance. I spoke with Mike, the sales manager, who was shockingly dismissive and rude over the phone. He showed absolutely no empathy for our situation, which has been both frustrating and stressful. We originally purchased the vehicle from Robert in the early fall and given his strong service expected a much higher level of customer service and support from management post-sale—especially for a vehicle in this price range. Instead, we’ve had to reach out to Toyota Canada directly to try and get this resolved. I would strongly caution others considering purchasing from this dealership. The customer service experience has been deeply disappointing and has left us regretting our decision to buy here. More

Beware of this place. I purchased a new truck to replace my old one. Was very upfront about the issues my truck had and was told "it only has to run and have the 4 x 4 w I purchased a new truck to replace my old one. What it didn't have was brakes and they were told this multiple time to which they responded "it's okay it just has to run and the 4x4 work) Brought my truck in after filling it with break fluid. Got there and was told they would not honour the trade in price they had stated. They don't deal in good faith. Don't trust what they tell you, because apparently what they tell you is a load of xx to get you to purchase their vehicle. I will say that our sales man Dominic was very nice and was very upset at our treatment by the finance department. More

On arrival was told could not drive as it was up on hoist for brake work, but come back next morning. She paid a $500 deposit. Another 35 km one way trip the next morning , still not ready. Told to come back Monday after work, confirmed with salesman Monday morning. A third 35 km one way trip Monday afternoon , only to be told car sold to someone else, even with deposit paid. Mike and Robbie (sales managers) are totally dishonest, DONOT TRUST these people. You will be sorry….believe me!!!!!! We have not got our deposit back yet!!!!!!!!! More
I bought a car in February of 2025 and the customer service was excellent. We spent most of our time with M. Amir Shahsavar (not listed), our finance guy. He was courteous, kind and professional. After selecting a vehicle, I was directed to Finance Agent Steve, who was very eager to finalize the deal. However, the contract terms were not properly explained, and I later realized I was locked into a high-interest rate where all the interest had to be paid, even if I made extra payments. When I immediately requested a refund of my $1000 down payment (sent via Cash E-Transfer), Steve became confrontational, accusing me of having an attitude and even yelling, “ARE YOU THREATENING ME!?” I escalated the issue to President Pierre, who claimed all calls were recorded—though Steve had used his personal phone, making verification impossible. While my refund was processed the same day, I received no apology. Lesson learned: Always read and fully understand contract terms before signing, no matter how urgent your situation. Based on my experience, I found Car-On Auto Sales to be unprofessional and lacking transparency. I would not recommend them. At all. More
