Will share more once the resolution is completed... Thanks to everyone who wrote reviews on this site, but I'm always surprised to read things like "the staff were friendly". Is it because they're trying to get thousands of dollars worth of business out of us? It might be more helpful to know that they remained friendly and cooperative after the sale, how helpful/available the service dep't was, etc. - especially if something went wrong... On that note, I would like to share my experience with Car Nation Direct. I was in the hunt for a 7-seater that's not a minivan, on a budget, so the choices are pretty limited. Having said that, I needed to do some research before visiting this dealer because I was misinformed about the quality of the Dodge Journey during my visit. I have read many reviews stating there was no pressure, etc. but in my case, only one vehicle was offered no matter how much I asked to see something else. I also got the "this trade-in value will only be good for today" and they responded with vague reasons when I asked why they wouldn't pay the same value in cash for the trade, seemingly contrary to many of the signs posted in the sales office about highest cash value for trade-ins. OK, now here comes the hard sell. 2 guys are on me telling me how good the Journey is. One is telling me how a lady came in the other day after driving it for 400k, so it lasts a long time. Another is telling me it will last a lot longer than my trade in. I've had Nissan and Honda, and when I bought them, they were both well above the 90k this Journey was at. But this model, judging from the experiences posted online as well as my own, lead me to believe that at even a fraction of the age, my older, higher-mileage vehicles were more solid choices. And don't get me started on the erratic fuel "economy" and sluggish pick-up... Also, we had agreed to fix a scratch on on of the doors as part of the purchase agreement. Sorry to say, but it almost looks like it was covered in crayon - seems it looked better before the "fix". Couple that with repeated visits to their shop to fix everything from a repeated engine light to drooping front bumper (that, along with a torn seatbelt plus heavy rumbling in the engine at idle may suggest that this clean-carproof vehicle may have seen an accident before the sale) and I had to write to the sales team I worked with to express my dissatisfaction. Of course, I received no response after that. Even before I was scheduled to pick up the car, I was concerned that the torn seatbelt indicated a possible accident, but Sky was not willing to budge on this point or let me consider another vehicle, though I repeatedly expressed safety concerns with the condition of this car. From my experience with this dealership as well as the service (8-5 weekdays only, no weekends), I unfortunately can't recommend them. I had to keep taking time off work to come in over and over, and with nothing to show for it so far. Here's hoping this review helps others in the market for a used vehicle - I hope you can learn from what I've shared here. Cheers and good luck! More

I HAD A DREAM.... and now i Drive it :) thanks to Steve. Like most people, a new vehicle purchase is a hit to the pocket book. Insurance, taxes, plates, searching, test drives.... ect ect.... UGHHHH :( My Like most people, a new vehicle purchase is a hit to the pocket book. Insurance, taxes, plates, searching, test drives.... ect ect.... UGHHHH :( My truck had many km's and started with a few issues, and I was done putting money into the old truck, and goggled the truck I wanted. With an expanding family, and a need in thought, I started searching. Last year I goggled the truck I wanted, & I found my black BEAUTY. 4X4, 4-door, Tacoma Thus I also found Steve and the car nation lot on line. Immediately I click..... and my email sent for verification that I am seeing the correct price and availability. With a response and a phone call in minutes of my sending button clicked firmly.... I'm on the phone and gathering information.....and all thanks to Steve Blankstein , He answered every question, helped with the complete purchase, and every point of interest I had. Steve didn't just sell me a vehicle, he sold me trust, convenience, confidence and reliability. In return I didn't just get a truck that I love from the steering wheel to the rubber as it hums down the road, highway or trails to the cabin, I bought a friendship. When it comes time to get another vehicle, you can bet the car fax I will be emailing Steve and his crew, the only question now is..... why are you still reading this review, email Steve and get into the vehicle you want and start smiling while driving again. It feels as if its my first car all over again, and I can only thank one place for that "Car Nation Direct" Thank you for having Steve part of your team...... AND Thanks you Steve Blankstein I couldn't Be Happier. More
